The primary reason why I gave Luxxi in Golden Triangle Mall 4 stars is because … it’s in Golden Triangle Mall. Which is a terrible mall. The clothes in the store aren’t the absolute best quality or price, but every time I go in I seem to find something I like. The style theme seems to be urban /club /average girl clothes. As a warning though, the sizes run small. I consider myself to be of a slim /average weight(jean size typically between 5 – 9), and a size Large ended up being the comfortable size for me(some tops still being just a little snug, and my chest size is small-ish). The person working in the store was polite and attentive, so always remember if somebody reviews a store in 2007, the staff may have shifted around a bit. If this store was parked next to a Forever 21(as compared in the previous post) yeah I’d go into Forever 21 first. It’s a nice store for this mall though. If you typically stop into mall stores such as 5−7−9, Gadzooks, or The Rave, give this store a shot. It’s not bad.

I was surprised to see that the crappy Golden Triangle mall in Denton had gotten a new store. Being as curious and daring as I am, I decided to take a peek. The store is called Luxxi, which I come to find out is another version of Forever 21 but with the prices doubled. At least Forever 21 has cheaply made clothing for mostly cheap prices… this place was trying to pass off cheap materials for quality fashion. I did find a dress and a skirt I liked, so I went to try them on(you know the thought process: man, this is way overpriced, but if I REALLY like it, I COULD get it). The lady who helped me was completely rude. I come out of the dressing room to hand everything back to her, and in a sarcastic voice she says«Did everything fit okay?» Alright, lady. I’m not skinny by any means. At that time I wore a size 14(now size 10ish, yay), and I was definitely able to fit into their clothes without a problem. I really wanted to tell her she shouldn’t be so blatantly rude to customers, especially considering she looked quite ghetto herself. Instead, I just left and vowed never to purchase an item from there.
