Pros– cozy atmosphere Creative foods Waitress was great Cons– slow service Cheap bread and sauces Small portions Looks plain Flies everywhere Priced too high for flavorless Italian food Don’t ask for dipping oil unless you want to pay two dollars

The atmosphere here is incredible. Unfortunately that’s all this restaurant has to offer. The pasta sauce was incredibly salty to the point where I didn’t want to eat it. I love Alfredo sauce and even that lacked any flavor. We tried the tiramsu dessert and that also was lacking in flavor and the bottom was wet with condensation like it had been just sitting all day. Needless to say we will not be back. Oh but on a happy note the service was really nice.

Food was good. But portion size was ridiculously small for the price. Barley could get bread, had to ask several times. And the salad was a tiny joke. Wouldn’t go back for the price.

i love this place, I personally have never had any issue here. I do however have multiple people i’m close to that have had unpleasant experiences here in their past; that being said, I still personally do recommend this restaurant. The atmosphere is warm & classy, the food i’ve had has always been great with no exception, i love their tiramisu & lobster ravioli, sometimes get wine but wine costs too much. besides wine pricing their prices arent what you’d necessarily be expecting, competitive decent pricing for what your getting. excellent classy & yummy date place. if you want to go on holidays or sometimes even weekends make reservations because they do fill up at times.

Got dinner last night! Love the atmosphere and the seating, very comfortable. Our waiter was very patient and answered all of our questions with enthusiasm, and we had quite a few! The bread was quite good, and the house wine was just alright, the chardonnay was way too sweet for me. Dinner was delicious, we all got different pasta dishes and enjoyed them all. Can’t wait to go back!

Great food and we had a fantastic waitress! The restaurant is in a house that’s almost 100 years old, it was really cool!

Amazing food, great service, great atmosphere. There are few things lacking in this restaurant. Come out. Try it. You will not be disappointed.

I’m a big fan of this cute little establishment. It’s a regular dinner spot for my friends and I to go and sit and enjoy a relaxing dinner for a reasonable price. The bread is yummy, the food is pretty flavorful, I’ve had a wide variety of entrees here and have never been disappointed. I highly recommend their cannoli, they’re very good. They come two to an order, but the server is always willing to bring a third for a small up charge of your party is odd-numbered. I do wish the food was a little less greasy in some cases, but it is Italian food and I know that’s asking a bit much! All in all I’ve never had any sort of problem with the service, food, ambiance, etc. It is a very consistent restaurant and the prices are not bad in the least. Great for dates as well!

I ordered the Eggplant Parmesan. It tasted like it had been fried several days prior and put into a refrigerator, then when I ordered it they put it in the microwave and nuked it for two minutes. Terrible. Completely soggy and bland. Two stars for the adorable house but I’ll never go back. There were four adults for dinner and none of us will go back. I’ve had better TV dinners. Seriously.

My husband and I ate here to celebrate our 10 yr. anniversary, and everything we order was extremely tasty!

This place is alright. I really like the ambience. It’s in an old house. But, I feel like the food is a little bit overpriced for what you get.

Pretty mediocre Italian food. The sole is good, but nothing else really made much of an impression.

Great food and great atmosphere! Top notch service. We started with the bruschetta and calamari which was awesome. The lasagna was great, it has a very tasty sauce and meatballs to die for!

I only visited this place once and unless someone wants to bring me here again, «to try it for themselves» I will not come back. I have drove by several times, thinking that looks like a good place to try. Finally I came with a friend and the first impression was really good. The Resturant is in an old house and they have black tablecloths and black napkins, nice romantic atmosphere. The food, well, started out with a small Caesar salad which was Really Good! The bread was sourdough and warm. The butter, if you can get it out of the tiny package was okay. Then the entrée. Mine was manicotti and it was served cold. My friend ordered something(forgot) and got something else. But it was served cold as well. The server was slow to come around and we hungry so we just ate and talked about not coming back. And the table next to us was talking about not coming again so out decision was reimbursed. The second star was because the flavor of the food was good for cold food.

Good price for some good and fine Italian food. Not amazing but good enough. Very nice and cozy setting inside.

This was the 2nd time we’ve tried Giuseppe’s. It is in a quaint little Victorian residential house– which explains why it was SOCOLD inside. A beautiful place with no insulation. I kept my coat on the entire time buttoned up. But the food is what brings you here, support local and all. My hubby ordered shrimp alfredo and I had fried eggplant with a lemon cream sauce paired with ziti pesto. The shrimp still had their tail on so you have to pick those off. And, the fettucine noodles were clumpy. My eggplant was good, topped with spinach, diced tomatoes and capers. The ziti with pesto also good. It was all just so creamy, I got full on the eggplant and took the pesto ziti in a to go box. The salads, though small, were very good. My hubby got the Caesar. I had the house with a balsamic vinaigrette. The vinaigrette was also creamy but delicious. The experience was not quite what we were hoping for and we couldn’t help compare it to Bagheri’s. I may be back but I wouldn’t put this on my top Italian place in Denton.

Went for lunch today, awesome affordable prices & excellent service. Will deff be going back soon. Both of our lunch entrees came with half salads as appetizers & bread. To give an example on pricing, the chicken parmigiana lunch portion served with half salad, bread, & fetticuni Alfredo was $ 9.95.

Bolognese sauce, known in Italian as ragù alla bolognese, is a meat-based sauce originating from Bologna, Italy. Service is slower than Christmas. Bland. Where is the flavor? When asked the wife about her food, she proclaimed, «meh». And I couldn’t agree more. Bottom line: we won’t be coming back. And you shouldn’t either.

I love Guiseppe’s. The spaghetti bolognese is delicious – both the sauce and the noodles are lovely. I have eaten many of their other dishes, like the seafood linguini, the tortellini panna rosa, Alfredo sauce, etc, but my favorite is still the spaghetti. You’ll also love the bread and house salad/dressing. And if you’re like me, you’ll dip the bread into the leftover salad dressing on your plate. Good till the last drop.
