If you enjoy retro or miss the 1950s, then this is the restaurant for you. They haven’t even updated the place since then or it seems. The rootbeer is home made and delicious. Veggie burgers have noticeable veggies in them. The regular burgers are juicy. We also love the cheese fries. They have a large menu. The only drawbacks are stained ceiling tiles, restroom looks like it has not been cleaned since the 50s, and tiles chipped, black, and dirty. If you can overlook the dirt and damage and close your eyes when you go to the restroom, this is a great place for a burger.

We absolutely love this place ! Best burger fries and drinks etc. around. The owners are some of finest people you will ever meet. It’s so refreshing to find such honest hard working all American people at Frostys. There is a reason this place has been around so long. Don’t change a thing!

I come in here often and love the food. I ordered a medium drink and when I went to get a refill I stated«I drink a lot of soda sorry». The owner told me why didn’t I buy a large then and I said because I get free refills and he said«because I’m a cheap ass» then preceded to tell me how that extra 25 cents it costs to get a large helps him stay in business. What an ass hole.

Excellent Root Beer — frosty mug and unlimited refills!!! Burgers are good old fashioned greasy burgers. Hot dogs are great — chili dog is a must! Steak sandwich is a CHICKENFRIEDSTAEK! A side o’gravy and fries and you will be a happy Texan!!! Great milkshakes too, but I a root beer float puts the shakes to shame! Go, eat, drink, repeat OFTEN.

We came for a root beer float and shake and were not disappointed! Love the look of the old time diner. We ordered a small root beer float, which was pretty big, and it was by far the best float I have ever had. We also ordered a cherry shake and it was delicious too. They have lots of other flavors and add-ins that we will go back and try some day. Definitely want to go back and try their food. The bathroom was kinda gross but other than that everything was great. We will probably frequent Mr. Frosty for special desserts for the kiddos.

Dreamsicle shake… Every single time. I order this and its downed before we get home or to our destination. NOSHAME. You can’t go wrong with the Oreo either. And if you love onion rings.(who doesn’t?) These are amaze balls. There large cut rings perfect for sharing. Not too sweet or over battered. I can’t personally review the hamburgers, but DH loves them and scarfs it down, their not small by any means so you will be filled up. Sitting outside in the summer/spring when it’s nice out is great– sure it’s not a fancy place– but it’s nostalgic of ‘what it was like back then’(Since I’m not old enough to know the 60’s 70’s etc. sorry 80’s baby) Lastly, every time we come Patrick is awesome. If you want to grab lunch/dinner, a date, or just to get ice cream.(Since every one needs ice cream)… come here. It’s a great place to go to.

What’s not to love? Family owned business that offers delicious burgers and homemade root beer. This place is very affordable. A burger with a large root beer for only $ 5.50. Service is also really fast, you will be in and out within a minute.

I went to Frosty Drive N twice this weekend. I was introduced to it Friday by a friend and I had a burger, onion rings and a shake. The burger and shake were awesome, 5 of 5 stars. The onion rings were very disappointing. They were either frozen freezer aisle rings or if hand cut and battered in house they must have been battered earlier in the day and left hanging out in the refrigerator all day or the breading was very stale. Not sure what the issue was but they were disappointing. I knew my son would love the shakes so I took him Sunday night. Had the same great burger and shake but got fries this time. I could have made those myself from a bag of crinkle cut fries from the frozen section in walmart. Disappointed again. I’ll go back but just for the burger and shake. I’ll stay away from the fries and onion rings.

Old school burger joint whipping up some good burgers. If want to to feel like you took a time machine to the 50’s, this is the place for you. Their root beer floats are had to pass up as well.

I went to Frostys yesterday with my boyfriend who had never been before, I had told him so many great things about this restaurant and were very excited but unfortunately my experience was less than satisfactory. Normally when I come and order food I have no problems but I feel like something was amiss. Both of our burgers had WAY too much lettuce, like mouth full of lettuce. As well as my onion rings were worse than sonic, gritty texture batter and slightly over cooked or something because they were DRYDRYDRY and not cut very well. I really love this little restaurant so please do a little more training with the cooks! Also just a side note I really feel like there should be some renovations, water spots in the ceiling aren’t super appealing :(

Great food but very disappointed that the Unilocal app states they open at 11am but we were tuned away and told they don’t open until noon. Hungry and disappointed!!! Thanks for the quick response and edit of your hours. I had my tummy set on a delicious burger before heading to the Rangers game.

This place is so throw back old school that you can’t help but love it. The food is nothing fancy, but always hot and prepared well. The ice cream is delicious and always SO frozen, never mushy or icy. It’s just a really great spot for a burger and definitely inexpensive! People who own it are super nice too.

Food was ok, I think the owner, older gentleman, waited on us, wasn’t very friendly, it felt like we were bothering him. So thanks, but no thanks Mr. Frosty, we’ll go to Braum’s next time.

Food is just okay, mainly a good place to go if you’re not wanting to pay much for food. The highlight was definitely the root beer float. This is pretty much what saved the review for me. I got the cheeseburger with special sauce and had maybe 3 bites. Stop in for a refreshment if you can.

OK, I GOTBACKONTO UnilocalTOWRITE A REVIEWFORTHISPLACE SOPLEASEREADIT(TIA!) This place is wonderful. One day, while my boyfriend and I stopped at Sonic to get drinks… I saw this place and thought… that place looks too cute! The very next day, we went and I got a burger with a shake… THESHAKEHAD A TWINKIEINITOMGOMGOMG. After I went into fan girl mode about my shake, I began to eat. The quality of the food was great, the quality of customer service was great, and I have consistently experienced nothing but good things here. Ditch Sonic, and come here.

Hamburger was above average. It had a unique smoked flavor. Cherry shake hit the spot but pass on french fires and fried pie. I’m deducting points for cleanliness. The cook was eating a bag of chips while cooking the customers orders. None of the tables were cleaned between customers and the napkin holders had a layer of dust. That’s not what got me though. The bathroom was absolutely filthy. It will make you vomit all that good tasting food.

This classic burger and fries with a homemade root beer was just what I needed! The cashier was very helpful with recommending what I should have. The burger and fries were fresh and delicious! Was in pleasant company of an elderly couple who said they’ve been frequenting the establishment for years with their grandchildren. I was the first customer to walk in for the day but by the time I left, the cars were filling the parking lot. I will definitely be back to try more!

I usually don’t even want to go to retro diner places like this, but I had heard great things about the root beer and onion rings and I’m so glad we went! The owner was very personable and chill and the rest of the staff was hardworking and friendly. The root beer float was really the best I’ve ever had! My burger and onion rings also hit the spot hard. It’s a rad location that feels a little special and hidden and it’s a really comfortable dining experience. Reminds me of the Alamo Freeze in Friday Night Lights. Five stars for that,
