A standard Denny’s. The food is average, reasonably priced and always sounds better than it turns out to be. We intended to stop at a place nearby, only to find it closed and short on time to find something else. Overall, the meal here was good. I had a Holiday Harvest Skillet, which featured a Gouda-Apple Chicken Sausage. I couldn’t taste the Apple, and the Gouda liquefied against the hot skillet as I cut into the Sausage. The restaurant was clean and the service was fast and friendly, but the meal was just ok.

Here at Denny’s tonight we came and no one would sit us down every server would look at us and give a ugly look like I’m to busy or that’s not my job, I was like there reflecting the type of manager they have an inexperienced one who doesn’t know how to run a restaurant but to my surprise the bus boy a older gentleman chased down a waitress and told her there’s people waiting to be seated with a look on his face that shows he takes pride in his job. The manager should be fired and this guy trained to run the place anyways that’s my opinion for what it’s worth I own a business in Denton called Arc Interior solutions we sell about half a million per year in commercial office furniture hopefully someone at Denny’s corporation will read this review.

We went in, they were not that busy, we’re seated got our waters, the waitress left and didn’t return. We ended up leaving after 10 min. She and the other waitress were both at the register trying to find a bug.

The restaurant was dirty. We sat at a booth, and the half of the table near the window looked like it hadn’t been cleaned all day – spilled sugar, wadded up paper, crumbs, and greasy fingerprints, and this was AFTER the busboy cleaned it. My coffee was brought out in a dirty cup – not just poorly washed, but looked like handed from a previous customer to me without washing. The windows and door were also covered with greasy fingerprints. Skip this place and try one of the other breakfast places in town.

What a great visit. I have had nothing but bad experiences at my local Denny’s location, but was driving through Denton and decided to visit this one(it was my local one before I moved out of the area). Service was fantastic, food was cooked perfectly. Really nothing more that I could have asked for.

We always stop here when we travel between home(Houston, TX) and visiting family in Kansas and Oklahoma, and it’s always been decent. It’s not amazing, but the people are friendly and the food is good. We stopped here again the other day on our way to Tulsa and while our waitress wasn’t very friendly, the food was good and the coffee hot. That’s all we needed/wanted at 5 am on our road trip. It seems to be pretty consistent and I do like the $ 2, $ 4, $ 6, $ 8 meal options. The Grand Slam Slugger is a huge meal with pancakes, eggs, hash browns, sausage, bacon and coffee and juice or a soda for $ 8. You really can’t beat that at all. It’s a nice constant to know this is always here and open and easy to get to from the highway, no matter which way we are traveling.

nothing exceptional here but it is one of the few places open late in Denton. It will probably never be my first pick in late night dining but their breakfasts do come in large portions, a little pricey though.
