Chipotle Mexican Grill

I have to say that I love chipotle, and so does my kids! I know it’s a chain, but everytime I go I love the food and the experience.
The Denton store is great. It’s always clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. The food is always great and delicious.
I always order a bowl with the safritas for my protein with white and brown rice, black beans, veggies, lettuce, corn salsa, mild salsa and guacamole on the side. The bowl is always big enough to share with a side of chips. The chips are delicious but do have a lot of sea salt on them.
The only negative about this chipotle is that during busy times they have a line out the door. I guess that’s the price for great food.
Positives are the line moves quickly, tables are always clean, and they always have food fresh and ready. This is a great chipotle.

I love chipotle and probably eat it 2 – 3 times a week. This is the closest location to my house but I will never return to this place. This place disgusts me with how lazy the employees are. I would rather drive across town to freebird’s next time I want a burrito. Tonight is the 3^rd time I’ve had to leave this location when the line is nearly out the door and this little kid (employee) has the gall to tell me they are out of steak and chicken? Are you seriously too incompetent to cook up what you will need to serve your customers? This is ridiculous. I would give negative rating if it were possible as this is a consistent problem and it would be justified. I’m eating across the street at pei wei right now where the employees are considerably more prompt and attentive. Props to them for taking care of me. You guys suck.

Awesome staff! They are very friendly and nice. Total problem solvers. I had an issue with an order and they resolved it. I had a great conversation with a manager concerning my issue. The manager was very polite and pleasant. This location will definetely continue getting my business.

Just started working in the Denton area and the only two times I’ve gone to this one, they have unlocked the doors past 11:00 am by a couple of minutes. I try to get there right when it opens because the lines build up quickly. Also, they haven’t had the vegetables ready upon opening either of the two times & requires me to wait 2 – 3 additional minutes. The food has been consistent in freshness & flavor so no complaints there. They just need to manage their time more wisely & open promptly & be completely ready as this cuts into my one hour lunch time.

I. Love. Chipotle. But the differences between the Loop one and the Fry st one are remarkable. The food here NEVER tastes the same as the Fry street one. More greasy, bad Mexican-​y, and I’ve experienced three times where the guac has already started to brown. On several occasions they’ve been out of black beans or guacamole or brown rice, or had to wait 10 minutes on chicken while the line behind me backs up. Staff always seems impatient or cold. Literally everything that is so great about the Fry street Chipotle is the opposite for the one on 288. It’s come to if I’m on 288 and have my usual Chipotle crave, I drive out to campus for the better Chipotle.

It’s a chain. You know what the food is like, come on. It’s good! Fresh, etc. My favorite thing about this store is its people. The staff is friendly and attentive. Just lovely folks.
So, yeah, perfectly acceptable burrito chain with as fine a set of people as you’d hope for.

The store was packed, so the wait took forever. But the food was really good. Chicken and rice bowl, simple but sweet.

I hate to do it but this trip I took there today def sucked… I got a chicken burrito with all the great fillings. I told the guy chicken and he tried putting steak in it… I corrected him and then told him black beans as I got a text I looked down to see the next girl it was passed to placed my lettace, pico, and sour cream. So it came with no beans so basically a rice and chicken burrito. The major problem was as I got home the chicken I spit out and then picked out cause it was dry and tasted old. If you are running to the end of the bucket and noone has got the chicken in awhile dump it for a fresh batch dont serve it cause it tasted so bad. The steak bowl my girl got tasted bland and not seasoned. I always get the chicken but I have had better tasting stuff at near by cheap taco joints not mentioning names. Just figured it was always good food… we just got done working out and it was on the way home. $ 15 dollar waste. The quality def has gone down. I would either look into this and work on the quality of the food or rename this location Beans and Rice..

I’m a chipotle lover, but won’t subject myself to the one in Denton. They obviously only
cater to their college crowd. LOUD LOUD LOUD music. No thanks.

I come to this location quite often. The employees always greet you and are courteous. However today employee Yvonne while taking my order belittled me and was disrespectful. I will not be back to this location.

We love chipotle. Way better than freebirds. Chipotle might not have as many options, but the quality and flavor is far superior.
I’ve been eating Chipotle for a long time and it is has never disappointed, even if a mistake was made.
The bottom line is, give it a try. It’s all good and the combos you can create make it fresh and new everytime.

My boyfriend and I LOVE chipotle, we eat at a Chipotle 1 – 2 times a month. While I would love to give this Chipotle 5 stars, I can’t. The food is great, but the inconvenience of them being out of guacamole is so frustrating. Today makes the third time that we have come to this location and had to wait 20 minutes for them to make guac. It’s great that the guac is fresh, but the poor planning on their part in keeping it stocked is frustrating. If they can fix the guac issue, they’d become our favorite and most convenient Chipotle location.

I used to love this location and Chipotle. But in the last few months every time I’ve eaten there, I’ve gotten sick. Right now, I’m fighting a horrible case of food poisoning after eating lunch there. I have a iron stomach and have never had any issues. Now I’m paying for it. This establishment has gone down hill and beware, it’s not a fun feeling afterward!

Not a very friendly staff, rice was hard and uncooked. Floors very messy. We arrived when they opened and the floors were not swept and had chips everywhere and tables were dirty.

Denton’s getting sofritas starting TOMORROW! Can’t wait!

I didn’t eat at the Moe’s at this location but at the one at Dallas Love Field. All I can say is the food is real good but the service was very lousy!!!

I love this place. Chicken burrito would have to be my favorite. I love it with the hot salsa and guacamole for the ultimate in flavor. Mucho Rico Amigo! Sorry, I got a little carried away. Just Go!

Chipotle used to be pretty scarce, in face the first one I ever went to was in Boulder, Colorado years ago. Then they started popping up everywhere. It’s main competition is Freebirds and in my opinion both have lots of similarities and I enjoy both.
This is my local Chipotle. I haven’t been here in quite some time. That’s only because there are so many new restaurants popping up all over Denton. I like to experience new food, so some of my goto places have been neglected.
Chipotle always has good, filling food and I do like their Jasmine rice more so than Freebird’s rice. It’s just unique and aromatic. The meat choices are all great and I do like their salsas. It’s also one of the few places you can get Nantucket Necters. I don’t know why that is, because the juices are great.
I will be back, not sure when but do support Denton businesses.

I like Chipotle. Always have good service a no trouble finding a place to sit. Fresh, fast and not too pricey…

Love Chipotle! I have never been disappointed at a Chipotle. They have fresh yummy ingredients. Usually split a burrito with someone; this time we split a burrito with half carnitas and half barbacoa. It was fantastic, really juicy meat. Affordable too.
One of my favorite things about Chipotle is the simple menu, there are just enough options, but not so many that you are overwhelmed and can usually decide and order quickly.
