Bedbugs. Bloodstains on the comforter. Funky odor. Broken bed frame(as in, you sit on one side of the bed and are thrown backwards because there’s nothing supporting the mattress on that side). Decrepit interior. All for roughly $ 200/night. It was the only available place in town, and we still demanded a refund and left. Cars, friends’ floors, and out-of-town spots are all better options.

BEDBUG bites… I am suffering as I type this. One of the nastiest, filthiest motels I have ever had the displeasure of staying in. Had paid for one week, let three days early because of the bites. Wouldn’t wash my clothes in their so called laundry if you paid ME… looks like housing for the poor, unwashed and other sorted bottom feeders. Nasty, lying Indian female who checked us in said this was one of their best rooms!!! OMG, can’t imagine how horrible the bad rooms are! Just don’t stay here, ever.

We waited too long to book our hotel for UNT spring graduation weekend so we wound up here. It appeared to be the last available hotel room in Denton, for good reason. Upon entrance to our accommodation our noses were assaulted by a strong musty odor that sort of also smelt like cigarette smoke, in a non smoking room of course. Once you get past the smell, you might see at worst worn out furniture which seem covered in years worth of stains. I was too scared to walk on the carpet with my bare feet, afraid I may contract something. The sheets and towels seemed clean, along with the bathroom, which prevented us from demanding a refund on the spot. Mold was growing around the coffee maker. The comforter on the bed was stained and seemed filthy. we could hear everything going on in the adjoining room. I would have been more comfortable sleeping in my car. We survived the weekend, but it was largely unpleasant and I suggest that no one stay here. I can’t believe the owners take people’s money in exchange for what they provide. I truly feel bad that ladies of the night would even have to work in these conditions.

If you make the mistake of staying here, I would recommend bringing penicillin and hand sanitizer.

Methinks not is more likely, but I’ll round up since the rooms are your average fare. We worked with the motel owner in setting up rooms for our group of 100 students coming in. Miscommunication up and down the charts. This place promised us a lot of things that they never followed through on. 1. They promised us rooms next to each other. never happened. Their excuses were that we did not book everyone«on time». 2. They promised that noise level would be no problem since it’s outdoors… When the groups arrived to stay, the front desk and owner were rude to them and constantly made their rounds to shut down any noise level they heard. The front desk threatened the groups several times, and claimed that they would kick out each room. 3. They promised enough breakfast in the morning to feed the students before they leave for the day. The students complained that they motel ran out of milk and cereal before 8am on both mornings that they stayed. So, individuals, maybe you’re welcomed here. Groups are definitely NOT welcomed here. If you’re a truckdriver or construction worker you’re also welcomed here for their«weekly discounts». but group organizers, STAYAWAY. Students and workers(who need to get up at 4 in the morning) are not a good combination. However, on the flip side. their rooms are alright in that you get what you paid for, and they’ve got interesting«Fantasy» rooms if you’re into that(specifically only 2 people per those rooms, they’ll threaten to kick you out otherwise). So overall, I’m dishing out low stars for poor and misleading communication.
