We had chicken kebab plate and it was bland. No flavor and chicken was dry. Rice pilaf also had no flavor. I cannot recommend this as a place to go.

Delicious and fresh. I love Mediterranean and this place quenched my cravings. Great for take-out as the interior is small. You can order online and have it ready. I’d recommend this place. I ordered the beef shawarma wrap, it was warm, tender, nicely seasoned with crispy lettuce. Friendly staff too.

The service is alwaus fast and pleasant. The food is affordable and consistently tasty. Its clean inside and fine for dining in for a quick bite but don’t expect to get too comfortable. I prefer to take out. The home made hummus, tabbouleh and falafel is my favorite.

In my opinion this is more of a takeout – only 2 or tables for eating. The food is really really good. Authentic Middle Eastern fast food, which is healthy to boot. Stuffed grape leaves, pita sandwiches, kebab platters with rice. All freshly made and seasoned nicely. I’ll keep going back.

Stopped in to try this place for lunch on a weekday in early December. Walked in and wanted to settle on a place to sit before ordering at counter. Scanned the 2 small seating areas and was surprised to find only small, low chairs. Looked like they’d gotten them from kids’ section of an old McD’s, or an old school or something. There didn’t seem to be an alternative. Was shocked and saddened by this. My knees would never tolerate these seats. I walked out and won’t be back. Who do these people think will be doing business there year-round, especially in winter? Won’t be the summer tourists & part-timers but just maybe the older, retired community that contributes to the Cape economy and isn’t looking for«kiddy chairs.» Owners should have more awareness. Town should look into this.

I’ve been waiting for a good Mediterranean place nearby, and I was very happy when I passed by the old Hit Pizza and noticed that my wish had been granted! The Kape Kabab is a great place with a relaxed vibe. The furniture is interesting, the staff is friendly, and the food was excellent. I had the lamb special, and my wife had the falafel. Our toddler ate from both.(This is meaningful if you have ever fed a toddler!) The falafel tasted great and had perfect texture, the sides were excellent and fresh, and the lamb was fantastic. This is not a fine dining restaurant, but it is wonderful food, with a casual atmosphere, and at a great price. In fact, I’m on here looking up the menu to order a quick dinner. Definitely ready for round two!

Kape Kabab is a welcome addition to the area, as we haven’t had a place to get falafel, shwarma, and the like. It has become one of my regular stops for lunch or dinner. Staff is friendly, food is tasty, and the prices are good. What’s not to like?

Well, to start, you are going to want to order this food for takeout, unless you want to eat at the picnic tables outside. The inside tables are very small and plastic, and they need to be replaced. With that said, everything else was great. The gentleman who took my order was polite and friendly. He let me know when my meal was ready, thanked me, and so forth. No issues there. I had the kafta plate, with hummus and tabouli. I watched the kafta cooked for my order, and it was flavorful, perfectly cooked, and very tasty. The hummus was delicious, as was the tabouli. I love Middle Eastern food and this did not disappoint. Reasonable pricing, good portions. Very pleased with my meal… they just need some new tables inside.

Rarely do reviews but this place deserved a small leg-up as it feels unfairly rated thus far. Falafel sandwich was solid, good balance of crunch and flavor, though a tad salty. The Kefta kebab sandwiches were solid too, a strong second. Props for using a proper Middle Eastern pita vs. the Gyro knock-offs we see often. Worth a shot!

Great middle eastern restaurant. Falafels were excellent, crispy on the exterior and soft on the inside. All the food was hot and made to order in the kitchen, which you can see through the restaurant. The best falafels since NYC a few years back. Prices are great. They have America food like hamburgers, fries, wings etc too. Hummus is excellent. Wings were perfect. Workers could be a bit friendlier. Clean restaurant. Will be coming back.

We’ve eaten at many Mediterranean places and this one is one of the better ones. The food was great! Cook perfectly! Nothing was dry and the spices were just right!

Perfectly marinated and grilled lamb and chicken. Everything was fresh and they couldn’t be nicer. Just what the mid-cape needs.

The food was excellent. I had the falafel and hummus. The falafel was crispy on the outside and moist inside. Yummy yum. The place is exceedingly clean and the staff was impeccable. It’s so hard to find good Middle Eastern food on the Cape. Very happy for Kape Kabab!

Hate to knock a new business, but here goes. As Mediterranean food lovers, we decided to give this new place a try, and were extremely disappointed. The beef and chicken were both extremely dry and flavorless, the rice was old and hard, and the vegetables that they served, were old, wilted, and should have never been served. And, the Felafel had clearly been fried too long. The sauce tasted like something out of a bottle. On top of if all, our hot meals were luke warm at best. We were thinking that as a new restaurant, they would want to make a great first impression, but we were sadly mistaken. To make matters worse, the man behind the counter taking orders was not welcoming and a bit rude. Upon leaving we noticed that the man making the food dishes was not wearing gloves, while wiping his hands on his dirty T-Shirt, which had some sort of landscaping Company logo on the back of it. So much for proper sanitation! In all seriousness, probably one of the worst meals/experiences that we’ve had in quite some time. No exaggeration. Perhaps they can get their act together in the future, but for now, we’d strongly recommend saving your money and going elsewhere.

So bad. Ordered a falafel wrap and potato wedges. I never eat potatoes, knowing about the 30+ pesticides used on them, but I was a bit hungover and desperate for sustenance… I asked for a side of tabouli but they said they were«sold out,» doubtful. No one was there and the place only recently opened??? Wedges were too thick and raw in the middle. Wrap did not have the turnip pickles in it that are listed on the menu, which I am guessing would have been the most tasty thing. Falafel was bland and over-crunchy to the point it tasted sandy. I have had bad experiences with sandy falafel. The dressing tasted similar to ranch, and the entire thing fell apart as I was trying to stuff t in my face. Just skip it. Seems this is one of those«doomed» locations.
