A very busy quaint place! Walking in we had to ask if we were to seat our selves or wait to be seated. Waitress served us right away with drinks and taking out order. Our food tasted good with fair presentation. They offered melted butter as well as reg butter for the pancakes/​waffles. What I thought was great was the owner sat in the dining area asking customers how their food was, dining experience, if they needed anything.

We decided to visit this establishment after hearing a glowing review from a lady running a local bait and tackle shop. The waffles were decently sized, but not exactly gourmet. We weren’t a fan of the melted butter or the syrup. The coffee is awful. We had to stop at Starbucks afterward to wash the taste out. The bacon was burnt, and the sausage patties were on par with the kind you make in a microwave.

Awesome breakfast! I had the waffle with strawberries and whipped cream. My girls had the silver dollar smiley face and enjoyed their food. Hubby had the number 1 with biscuits and hash browns. We all loved our food. This is where the locals come to get their breakfast. It’s a little mom and pop typed restaurant.

Have driven by this place many many times, and decided to make a stop for some breakfast to help get back on the good foot after a late night out. Had the Pecan waffle and bacon, meal was very satisfying and did the trick. Bacon was cooked perfectly in my opinion, and the waffle was crisp while also light and airy to provide a great consistency. I even ran into a couple local folks I’ve know for years, and had a nice chat.
Small place, but great atmosphere and they still do home cooking and do it well. But be careful of sliding into a booth, you may fall through…
Will revisit my next time in Denison to try another menu item

This place has friendly service and really disgusting food. I thought a club sandwich was a safe bet anywhere; think again! Plain untoasted white bread, soaked in stale grease, chicken and bacon way past the sell-​by date, limp warm lettuce and greenish flavorless tomatoes. Could it be any worse? I think not.

This is a great hole in the wall location for breakfast. You almost expect Andy Griffin to walk in. Lots of regulars. Get the waffles!
