Live Oak Mobile Home Movers

NEVER EVER EVER USE THIS COMPANY! After my step dad passed away we needed to move our trailer. We called on them and they came out when scheduled. They moved our home ok. But afterward was when the real problem came about.
First off they left our place a horrific mess! Nails, woods, dust everywhere! Maybe that’s how other companies do as well but it was bad.
Second they didn’t make the 2 sides equally aligned before the put the house back together. So now on our back wall there is this uneven wall that looks so bad.
We called and called and Lester never returned our calls or came back out to our home once placed.
We happen upon him one morning at a store while he was hanging out with his buddies. My mom walked over and gave him a piece of her mind.
You have someone’s livelihood in your hands. You don’t take that lightly. He just wanted his money and be done with us.

I bought a newer mobile home and donated my older one. All I asked was for them to move it. They checked around and Live Oak Mobile Home offered the lowest price to move. So they were supposed to be out Friday at 9 am. My movers rushed to get everything into my pod before they got there. Being the home owner I waited and waited. The person I donated it to called me back saying Live Oak now said it would be 1 then 2 they kept pushing back the time. We waited until 5 pm and they never showed up and put all their calls to voicemail. They were also going to come out ahead of time to check the dimensions of the axels, wheels and weld the tongue. They didn’t show up for that either. So I’m sitting in a hotel alone paying 89 dollars a night and had to board my dogs which is also running up that bill. It also cost me an extra 300 for tree removal because the trailer was still there. This is the most unprofessional experience I have ever had. I do not ever recommend this company. actually I am reporting them to BBB. They may only quote you 1400 for a 14 – 70 mobile home to move but you get what you pay for. Nothing… A lot of extra cost and stress. I’m a disabled 54 year old woman and I was promised a smoothe transition. Please, look through the phone book or Internet. Watson Mobile Home Movers are listed almost first on the Internet please scroll past them. There are some reputable movers that are professional and maybe 200 more but pay it or you will find yourself paying it anyway and a lot of extra fees and stress.

If there was a way to give this company negative stars I would. We scheduled an appointment to have our trailer moved. The day before the move we finally got back in touch with the movers who said they would arrive at 1. When the day of the move came we sat and waited for 4 hours (calling constantly) only to realize that the movers were not going to show up. The movers never answered the phone (after more than 20 calls throughout the day) or called to tell us anything.
When I called other moving companies to get our trailer moved, they said that they had heard this same story dozens of times.
