The theater itself is beautiful! The seats are comfortable, and it usually isn’t that crowded, except when it’s opening night for an anticipated movie. The acoustics can be rather blah, though. It depends on where you are sitting in the theater, but sometimes the spoken dialogue is so mushy sounding that I can’t understand what is being said in quieter scenes. The theater only has one screen, so if there’s something playing that you want to see, make sure you see it quickly. Movies generally only stay a week or two tops, unless it’s super popular. For your info: the theater only accepts cash, so hit up the ATM beforehand. They often give you dollar coins in change, so if that isn’t your thing, make sure to ask for bills.

«The Egyptian Theatre in Delta, Colorado is an Egyptian Revival movie house. The 750-seat theater opened in 1928 at the height of the fashion for thematically-designed cinemas. It was designed by Montana Fallis, who designed the Mayan Theatre in Denver.» — from Wikipedia My wife and I ventured over to Delta to see Avatar and fell in love with this theater. The seats were comfortable and plenty of legroom for my 6’4″ frame. The staff was friendly and décor is awesome.
