Zona Fresca

Kinda pricey for fast Mexican chain — but totally worth it!
However the real reason I love this place is their salsa bar. They have quite the spread and selections unseen at many other places. On top of that its all self serve, so you don’t need to keep bothering folks to get more of the salsa you want or getting a sample to see if its one you will like. My personal fav is the one with Sliced Carrots, Onions and peppers in a vinaigrette — I have yet to see this offered anywhere else.

Super fresh ingredients healthy size portions and a terrific salsa bar to go with it it’s probably one the best Mexican places I’ve been to in the fast service genre.
Happy to chat with the general manager there she was incredibly Enthusiastic and cordial sheguide me through the menu and it really shows that that enthusiasm transcends into terrific service and great food I’ll certainly be back many times.

Quick, friendly and fresh. This was a good spot for lunch with made to order tacos, burritos and grilled dishes. They also have a fresh salsa bar, and I especially liked the habanero salsa!

Really like this burrito place. Food is fresh, lot of options, including burritos with shrimp, beef, chicken or some combination thereof. Much better than Chipotle, especially the chicken which is all white meat, lean here. Very cheap, solid burrito place. Enjoy.

cannot believe I’ve never been here before! Absolutely amazing fresh Mexican food — fresh salsa bar too. The chicken burrito was so good. The chicken was freshly cooked and moist — I really enjoyed it!

I’m a regular, actually I’m headed their now I was so hooked on fish tacos I took me a month to eat anything Else.

Zona is still as delicious as the first time I went to the original location years ago. The food is always fresh and incredibly well seasoned all for a reasonable price.
This particular location is a lot larger than the Original with lots of tables and a better layout for people waiting to order. The staff is extremely friendly. I usually opt for take out when I have a working lunch and the food was ready in about 5 minutes.
I always choose Zona over the closely located Chipolte and Tijuana Flats.

I have literally never had a bad meal here. I prefer Zona to chipotle (and it’s definitely better than Moes)… The healthiest choice next to cooking for yourself. Love the tomatillo salsa. Best I’ve ever had!

Came in for a quick lunch. They have a great selection of burritos and tacos at a very reasonable price. The food was very fresh and the service was great.

Grilled green peppers with stuffed cheese taste awesome. Great hidden location in delray. Better then moe’s. Tastes fresh. Very weak margaritas

Love it especially the salsa bar!!! Everything was very fresh and the staff was exceptionally nice. The space was clean and organized. There is a nice kids menu as well.

Wow. The chicken salad is amazing. It has great avocado, super fresh and healthy. It’s one of my new favorites. Yummy

Love this place. Try to go at least once a week after training. The food and the salsas are always fresh. Always pristine clean and the services is always smiling and helpful.
The guacamole is pretty spot on too and they always have just the right amount of chips.
They do serve beer and one or two dessert options.

So yummy! I could eat their chicken/​steak quesadillas everyday for the rest of my life. Especially with a side of their rice & black beans mmmm! So amazing, So flavorful! And they give you big portions!

We get this catered to my work every other week and it’s always a hit!
Best healthy «fast food» out there! Love the cilantro rice, the very filling salads, the free chips and salsa that come with your meal… Most of all, the free salsa bar makes this place stand out from all the other similar Mexican joints.
This place has quality food for a low cost that will not break the bank!

Rounded up to 5 stars for taste /​value which here in Delray seems to be difficult to find.
My favorite is the Baja fish taco & the guac is perfect too.
They have ceviche on the weekends which is worth a try.

There are a lot of «fresh“Mexican joints in the US, and some are wonderful, others are blander than an Amish fashion show. Zona Fresca serves up some really great food for an aspiring McChain. Their salsa bar has salsa on it that when it says HOT means hot, not the faux-​gringo hot of Welcome-​to-​Moes. The different meats, fishes and shrimp are seasoned interestingly, unlike the one-​flavor-​fits all of Chipotle, and in world where Taco Bell’s slop it on and wrap it up defines the fast food experience, Zona Fresca manages to serve it up with a little good presentation and style. Not as good as Tacos Al Carbon at Lake Worth and Military, but it’s indoors and lacks TAC’s overflowing trash can fly-​factories. El Jefe Luchador at the Mall is a better bite but chilled by being in a food court and the Heart of Darkness (shudder) Boca’s Town Center Mall, where the plastic surgeons just sit and admire their handiwork… ZF is tucked away in a corner of the retail complex on the Northeast corner of Federal & Linton (Carabbas). I missed it for years. It takes a little finding, but you’ll be happy once you’ve found it!

Yet another Mexican style restaurant, but this is definitely something to add to your restaurant rotation.
I had the chicken burrito with a side of chips and guac and it was very good. I was surprised to see my burrito cut in half and presented in two sections, but it was far easier to eat than the mega football size burrito at Chipolte and not nearly as spicy.
Parking is easy and there are a ton of seats both inside and outside.

Zona Fresca is a very beautiful place to eat and the food is delicious. I ordered the Muchacho burrito. It was to die for! Lots of meat, fresh vegetables, and tortilla chips as an added bonus. Having that free salsa bar in the corner and the very pleasant décor made it a very comforting restaurant to sit and eat with friends.
I encountered the place for the first time when my university club’s classmates decided to check it out. The restaurant staff were not apprehensive at all about having a large group of college students there. We put the tables together and had a fun time.
