We had outdoor seating on Atlantic Avenue, and our service was great. The food was excellent; we ordered pizzas to share, and I had linguine with bolognese and chicken/sausage chunks. I was full when we left; you receive plenty of food, almost too much. We had a large party with us, so my dish was shared amongst a couple of people. We made a same-day reservation and got in no problem(June ’16). No dress code, sit outside and watch the nice cars cruise the strip. I’ll be back.

We had a 7pm reservation. Heading into town from the East from the 95 we noticed several available curbside parking spots so we grabbed one. GPS indicated 1⁄3 of a mile to destination. Not bad. Got to V & A’s and met the rest of our party of 6. Got seated immediately. Within a minute we had bread, water and drink orders placed. Less than five minutes and we had some beverages in front of us. The menu is pretty decent and the prices pretty standard. Placed our orders pretty quickly and the food arrived nice and hot in a short time. None of us had any complaints. It is definitely a lively place without being too rowdy. The service was very good with smiles all around. If you want 5 stars… Swan Court in the Hyatt on Maui. Or Kimo’s on the water in Lahaina.

This place hits the mark on all fronts. Service was excellent. Josef is the best server. The servers all help each other out so all the servers are great. The portion size is perect for sharing or as a meal for one. I suggest sharing so you get to taste as much from the menu as possible. Value is very good considering that this is «The Avenue» in Delray. If you want to sit and enjoy the«people watching» the restaurant will not rush you out. We enjoyed the brunch on multiple occasions. They offer the most variety of «bottomless» choices in town. Our food choices have all been delicious. Coal oven breakfast pizza is delicious. Breakfast tacos are also very hearty. This is one of our favorite restaurants in Delray.

Have been visiting Delray Beach for the past 10 years and have had many meals here. Most recent visit, 2 nights ago was beyond disappointing. Food was comparable to a mall food court and service was along the same experience. So disappointed! Take your dining elsewhere!

Our first meal at Vic and Angelo’s was not the best experience. Started with appetizer… Arricinni Balls… cold inside and not enough sauce. Garlic bread was delicious and restocked when empty. The service was wonderful even though it took a while for any food to come out… and they were not extremely busy. I ordered the Veal Telefono. The sauce was very dark and thick like it was old… and tasted as such. My husband ordered the Fusilli with Sausage and it was very salty. We will not be going back!

I went here for my wife’s 40th birthday. The entire experience was very pleasant and the food and service were excellent as well — the waitress was very knowledgeable and helpful. The restaurant is a little on the pricy side but nothing out of ordinary for this type of venue. My advise to you all is to go easy on the appetizers because the portions are very, very generous and the dessert options are outstanding! For dessert to commemorate the occasion I ordered the” San Gennaro feast” that includes cannoli, cotton candy with fire sparks type of huge candle coming out from the top, zeppoles and assorted candies… This dessert is an experience itself and a MUST! And if you have kids with you they will love it!!! The only down side of this place is the noise so try to get a table outside. I highly recommend this restaurant.

What a great find walking in downtown Delray, the food was delicious and the desert was amazing. Great service and will be back again.

Seen this place a BUZZ many times on the Ave on weekends but never could get in, never planned or reserved — so it’s an easy try on a Sunday night, no wait, not busy. Unimpressive. With the high price point you would think great service would be in order, such is not the case. Food is not terrible, it’s average at best. There is better Italian elsewhere, less pricy and more welcome staff. Outside of the ambiance of the Ave… as one reviewer stated«The Ave is the place to be» and agree but this should not be your first choice to eat.

Unfortunately went here this time with people who used to own an Italian restaurant in New York. The service was great. The food was definitely not. So much for recommending places. .

Great food, great location, service sucked. I had a Caesar salad which was tasty and large, they forgot the anchovies that we wanted but did bring them later, chicken marsala with risotto and garlic spinach which was excellent as well, oh and the bread they serve is to die for. Great location, fun place on the main drag in Delray Beach. The only negative was we had a bad waiter who picked up my Uncle’s plate, then asked if he was finished which he actually wasn’t. This waiter also ignored us to the point of us having to recruit the hostess to help us! Other than that, no complaints whatsoever.

This place doesn’t get enough love! As a fellow Ops focused person, I was thoroughly impressed by how well they run their line and servers. They have great systems to ensure consistent service. The drinks were consistent and pretty quick. The happy hour menu was excellent. It is the way to go for sure! The pizza was exceptional! We also really liked the meatball and calamari! It is busy and a little loud, but it contributes in the best possible way to the atmosphere!!! It was fun and clean and the food was great. We were seated and served well, and that is a flawless experience in my book!!!

Service was pretty bad and very slow! Took forever for appetizers and then food. Had fried calamari and meatball. They were just ok nothing fabulous! Chicken parmigiana came out like warm. Very frustrating since we waited forever. Sauce not so great. Waiter was nice but really never came back. Long periods of time to check in on us. Very disappointing! Go somewhere else in Delray beach!

So disappointed with my experience here! I’ve heard so many great things about there other location in gardens so I decided to check it out since I was in the area. The service was terrible! We asked our waiter for fresh Basil to top on our pizza he never brought it out after asking twice and waiting over 15min. He never checked up on us after another sever delivered our food. The pepperoni pizza was okay, nothing I would go back for. It was coal fire pizza and fresh but the pepperoni was dry as well as the crust. We also tried the chicken Alfredo which was decent. Probably won’t be coming back here, there are so many other great restaurants on Atlantic Ave I would try instead.

If you come to this restaurant ask to be seated in Rachel Shepard section — she is the best so leave her a big tip. I don’t want anyone’s section unless it’s her. Very sweet and attentive and always so happy. She is my fav! It’s a noisy but fun ambiance here — definitely make reservations because it’s usually pretty packed. There is a train that goes by from time to time and it’s a little scary at first but you get used to it. I love the food — really big portion sizes. The salads are delicious & big. My boyfriend and I usually split a bunch of things when we come here. Their little antipasta platter makes for a good appetizer, so does the grilled octopus and grilled calamari. I think the octopus is my favorite though! They used to have this amazing seafood salad but they unfortunately took it off the menu. The pizzas are really popular here but it’s easy to get full on the bread that they give you. If you are a pasta lover I recommend the tortellini. It’s a good portion size and it’s really rich. It’s stuffed with pears and has a truffle oil sauce — sounds weird but my boyfriend and anyone else I know who has tried it is obsessed. This is definitely a great place to come for birthdays. They usually bring you cotton candy and this little sparkler and it’s really fun and cute. If you plan on going out afterwards on the ave then I recommend trying to eat light(even though its hard) because after you eat here it’s like an instant food coma and all you want to do is lay down and go to sleep. But this is definitely a great Italian place I would recommend going to — it has a great atmosphere. I’d probably recommend getting valet at the front if you’re not familiar with the area.

Make sure you come super hungry! The portions are HUGE! :) We made a reservation a few days prior, even though we were dining on a Thursday, and its a good thing we did because it was over an hour wait for those who didn’t have one. We did have to wait over 15 min for our table to be ready despite having a reservation. This was a bit frustrating, especially since we saw a few open tables but were told they were being held for other reservations, also at the same time as our reservation. Once the frustration of the seating was over, things took a turn for the better and we were pleasantly surprised by our meal and service. Our waitress was friendly, smiley and attentive. We went with her recommendations for just about everything and were very pleased. The bottle of Montepulciano was a nice smooth wine, one of the better bottles I’ve tasted. The complimentary cheesy garlic bread is served on a carving board and it is simply incredible– crispy with melted cheesy goodness! We also started with the Caprese salad, which was served as large tomato slices with thick mozzarella slices, fresh basil and a balsamic drizzle. This was one of the better caprese salads I’ve had. Per the waitress’ recommendation, we also tried the Eggplant Parmigiana appetizer. The portion was huge, the San Marzano sauce was tasty and the herbed riccota on top made it an incredible dish. For entrees, I enjoyed the Veal Angelo, which was an enormous piece of veal, breaded and topped with eggplant, smothered in a vodka sauce and then topped with melted fresh mozzarella. I had this served over the house made capellini and it was incredibly delicious! My husband ordered the Four Cheese Pear Tortelloni, which was served in a truffle cream sauce. The sweetness of the pear worked nicely with the creaminess of the sauce, and the pear gave a little crunch to the dish. The others I dined with ordered the Veal Telefono(Parmesan style with San Marzano tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella and home made pasta) and the Stuffed Chicken Francese(chicken breast stuffed with fontina, lemon garlic jus, and garlic spinach, served over sweet pea risotto), and both raved about their meals. The desserts looked delicious but we just didn’t have any more room after such large portions! Overall, super tasty classic Italian restaurant!

First time hear. Our group of 6 arrived for an early meal. We were seated quickly and the service was good. Each couple ordered a salad to share. Each was large enough for two. It was very fresh and tasty but a little heavy on the dressing for my taste. 3 pizzas were ordered and shared. BBQ chicken pizza was okay. BBQ sauce was a little over powering. We had a Margarita pizza which had tasty fresh tomato slices and fresh basil. The outer crust super thick but light and crispy. Inside crust was a little too thin and was soggy because of the toppings. Strange cut to the square pie was impossible to eat without a knife and fork. I’d probably go back again but there are so many other places to try in this area.

Sorry in advance for not such a nice review… The good, the bad and the ugly… Good: pizza Originale was very good, light and thin dough with good flavor Misticanza salad was also very good, arugula with candied walnuts The bad: octopus was rubbery and the fat was not trimmed Ahi tuna was nothing to brag about maybe a bad choice at the Italian restaurant Baked clams tasted too plain with no seasoning The service that started off great ended up non existent. The head waiter greeted us super friendly and then only appeared to bring us the check. The assistant waiter and other staff just left us hanging forever even though the restaurant was half empty so there was no excuse for negligence. We kept piling up dirty dishes on the pizza tray and on the table next to us. The ugly: terrible smell from the kitchen when we went to use the restrooms. The floor in the ladies room was all sticky and no paper towels from the dispensary. The newspaper décor on the walls looks old and peeling, gives a feeling of a place that is not clean. Maybe it’s time to renovate or at least to give it a good cleaning job. Sorry again for the bad review.

Visited mother-in-law/brother-in-law during Christmas weekend & we picked the right place for a late lunch/early Christmas dinner at Vic & Angelo’s! Made a reservation for 2pm, got in right away(this is good news w/a senior citizen who can’t stand for long periods of time) at a roomy outdoor table. Everyone was attentive, friendly, and very accommodating! Thought the menu had a lovely variety of traditional & unique dishes! Started w/some meatballs for appetizers(quite tasty), then the entrees were very tasty & large portions. Vic & Angelo’s special wine also hit the spot! Didn’t get much feedback from the family members(who really don’t get into the dining«experience» like we do), but the husband thought the lasagna was excellent & I really was Wow’ed by Linguini Frutti Di Mare(and they cordially switched out the linguini for penne upon my request). Our server Brittania did a marvelous job!
