Was not impressed. The cookies were made the day before and frozen overnight! And what I paid for them! Very, very limited selection. I would not bother stopping again.

I walked in with my husband and we were looked at like we were from another planet. So that put me off a little, but then when I saw people buying sandwiches and things that looked really good but really not French that made me look closer. I have seen French fries that are more French! So given that the coffee smelled like Folger’s and any of the«real» French pastries looked and smelled like any other Publix Bakery you’ve ever been to we left and came home to make ourselves smoothies. Easier, less expensing tasted a heck of a lot better!

Just goooood. Addictive. Stress-relieving. Fattening. But stress-relieving. Everything is awesome. Try a Brie Sandwich or almond croissant.

Searching for decadent pastries — not here, it’s not a typical French Patisserie.. But if you seek croissants, or sandwiches on croissant, or Boule or other bread — then this is the place for you. I’m allergic to nuts, so found their pastry selection disappointing; nuts and/or almond based creams in everything(can only eat/serve so many coconut macaroons). Located Delray, Federal Highway just N of 8th(George Bush /Blvd) tucked between the CVS pharmacy & Plastridge insurance — accessible from N or S bound Federal. AND closes at 5PM, so no quick stop after work. Enjoy a nice hunk of bread, good cheese and fruit, a glass of wine … Paris in springtime at any number of their parks!

Not many places have 70+ reviews, while maintaining 5 stars. Very, very impressive. So I said«self» check it out. Visiting Paris 7 times over 7 years I must say, I have high standards towards the French; they must maintain their high world renowned culinary«je né sais quoi». And so my verdic is: The owner Loic has kept the French culinary standards way out in front by providing exquisite bakeries. We had several items and all were outstanding. I will be back, again and again! Well done…

Walked in and the smell was intoxicating!!! Best croissants in the PBC area hands down! They were super light and buttery and hand an awesome chewy yet tender texture! I had the chocolate croissant and my mom had the almond croissant and they didn’t disappoint! Can’t wait to split open that French bread tonight and dive into those double chocolate almond wasn’t cookies!!! Most likely going back tomorrow for more croissants!!!

I was looking for a nice, quiet café for lunch when I came across this place. The croissants caught my eye so I decided to try it out. I was able to snag the parking spot right in front of the entrance which turned out to be a small miracle, since there were three cars fighting for a spot on my way out. It looks like they have a larger parking lot in the back though so I’d suggest you look for that instead or risk having some inconsiderate person park right behind your car so you can’t get out. Anyways, upon walking in I was greeted by one of the staff members who was extremely cheery and helpful. There’s a variety of sandwiches, wraps, croissants, cookies, and bread to choose from. I wanted everything, but settled on the following: Roast beef sandwich on a baguette(provolone, arugula, tomato, horseradish) — I was worried that the baguette would be too hard, but it was soft with a nice crunch. Is it the best I’ve had? No. Would I get it again? Sure, why not. There wasn’t much roast beef, but it was evenly portioned with the bread and other ingredients so the overall sandwich was quite good. Plus the horseradish was fresh and chunky. Cappuccino — Very watery. Almost no coffee flavor, making me think they left it out. I even checked the cup to see if there actually was coffee in there, that’s how bad it was. Raspberry almond croissant — My first bite was amazing, then I realized it was pretty much a croissant with raspberry jam sprinkled with some almonds. It was still perfectly flaky and buttery, but reminded me of a toaster strudel towards the end. The sweetness would have paired well with the coffee had the coffee been stronger. Pistachio white chocolate croissant — By far my favorite! Not overly sweet, just absolute deliciousness all around. Definitely a «must try» if you come here. One thing that irked me, aside from the coffee, was that they charged me for two pistachio croissants instead of one pistachio and one raspberry. It’s only a $ 1 difference, but still, it’s about the details. Everything IS on the pricier side, but I’d say it’s pretty on par with other legit bakeries I’ve been to, plus you’re paying for quality. They have an outdoor seating area as well which seemed to be more popular so try to claim a seat before you order if you want to sit outside. Overall, a quaint café with a French theme offering fresh baked goods. But seriously, pistachio croissants.

Solid option for near-French-like baked goods in Delray! Having just returned from France last week, I was jonesin’ for something Frenchy. We had brunch down the street at a bistro, and popped in here for a baguette and cappuccino afterward. The cappuccino was definitely good, but didn’t taste authentic French(bold and strong). Likewise, the baguette was good, but still didn’t have the consistency of a baguette baked in France. Should I even expect that in Delray Beach? After all, I’m in Florida, not France, right? I don’t know, but since it’s specifically called a French Bakery, I compared it to all of the boulangeries we visited while there, and if I had purchased this baguette in France, I’d been disappointed. Knowing our options are very few in Delray, this place gets 4 stars because, although it still didn’t seem as authentic as I wanted it to be, it was still good. Oh…almost forgot! They had samples of their Focaccia bread with tomato, basil, and cheese, and YUM, it was really good, so we purchased it!

Delicious delicious delicious! Loic Autret has the tastiest French pastries I have had in the US! The location seems a little odd, but as soon as you get out of the car, you can smell the pastry goodness! The menu is not gigantic, but there is definitely enough of a variety that it makes it difficult to choose what to get. Everything is freshly baked and looks delicious. Per one of the baker’s suggestions, I bought the plain croissant. This croissant was buttery, as it should be, and so moist and airy inside. The chocolate croissant was also buttery and airy, with just enough chocolate inside not to overpower the flavor of the pastry dough. I also got a white chocolate pistachio croissant… and it was out of this world! In addition to that buttery flavor, the croissant was drizzled with white chocolate(again, the perfect amount), sprinkled with crushed pistachio nuts, and sliced horizontally with a pistachio cream filling. All I can say about the flavors: WOW! The cappuccino was pretty average, but you don’t come to a place like this for the coffee. If you are looking for a boulangerie here in south Florida, I recommend you try Loic Autret.

After passing by this place almost everyday for months and the good things I’ve heard I decided to stop in. It was Sunday 8am and they had just opened and there was already a long line.(Actually 2 lines, one on each side of the counter) I got the raspberry almond croissant and it was divine and huge too, I had to save half for later in the day. Staff was also very nice and helpful. I live only a few minutes away so I’ll defintely be back and I have a feeling my waistline will suffer!

Nick and I had breakfast here Sunday morning. This place was packed! I had the chocolate croissant and Nick had almond croissant and a ham and cheese biscuit. This had to be the worst food I have had in Delray Beach. The coffee was bitter and weak, the croissants were heavy and the ham and cheese biscuit was all biscuit. Like the ham and cheese walked through it.

I really wish I never went in. In fact when I did, a little voice told me ‘RUNAWAY’. The building looks like an old IHop turned into a French café. Everything you eat here will automatically add 5 lbs and you will enjoy every ounce. This is the real deal, REAL French pastries and croissants. I moved here from a large city that had many top notch artisan French bakeries and never thought an authentic French bakery would exist in South Florida. But it does now. My favorite is the raspberry almond croissant. To die for. I agree with a reviewer below. The parking lot is in bad need of repaving and it can use some sprucing with flowers to make it more inviting. Tables outside with umbrellas would be awesome.

Over the course of 2015 I traveled around South Florida seeking out French Bakeries on the hunt for the perfect croissant… but it wasn’t until 2016 that I can finally say my search is complete! The White Chocolate Almond Croissant with Pistachio Crumbles is nothing short of extraordinary! This unlikely combination of flavors translates into a taste explosion your pallet will be dreaming about for weeks to come. Do your soul a favor, make the trek to this Delray institution and INDULGE like there’s no tomorrow!

As soon as you walk into the bakery, the most delicious aroma hits you! This French bakery had beautiful breads, croissants, focaccia, and some pastries. We got a raspberry almond croissant, a plain croissant, and an apricot almond cream croissant. The croissants were super tasty and the plain croissant tasted of delicious butter. The raspberry almond croissant, was also delicious but we felt the raspberry overwhelmed the almond flavor too much. The tart was alright, we wish it Tasted more of almond as well, it was hard for my husband and I to taste the almond flavor and we only ate half of it, which was upsetting considering we spent $ 8.(I would rate the tart as a 3 by itself) Overall the croissants were good and we would return to try other things like their breads or sandwiches

Love, love, love! Found this place through the Delray Green Market, they had a stand that was swarmed and empty baskets from selling out of items– thats a good sign, so I took a business card and bookmarked it. Today I was planning lunch and decided it was a time I paid this little bakery a visit. My friend decided to tag along, which was great because we both ordered baguettes and were able to split them and try both. I ordered the Turkey, provolone and avocado, topped with a ranch dressing and cilantro. My friend went with the brie on garlic and herb baguette. Both were stellar! Perfectly crispy and soft baguette. The pastries on display were also so tempting but I was so full I couldn’t bring myself to stuff one more thing in my face. I coupled my sandwich with a cappuccino, which was on point for taste factor, although since I was eating in, I would have preferred it in a cup rather than a to-go cup, but that’s just preference. One other sign was the traffic… people are on to this place. Many people came in and took food to go, others sat inside, as well as on the patio to eat lunch. I will definitely be back for more, especially for the fruit tarts which look so delectable I’m still kicking myself for not taking one to-go, for a slice with my tea later on. This is a welcomed addition to the Delray food scene, we were definitely in need of an authentic French bakery; one just cannot get by without a good chunk of crusty bread or a Parisian croissant — c’est la vie!

Bread pudding? Oh là là…, croissants? Yes…, coiffed? Very good. Basically our new place to go, comparable to Paris for sure. Why not five stars? The staffs using the customers central table to finish up their catering order? Not very inviting…, the outside terrace could use some TLC(flowers and overall clean up). Asked about having our pastries warmed up a bit and all the ovens were already taken for the obvious huge catering order. As a customer like everybody else, it is the service that is important here and we felt we went there at a bad timing of the day. Let’s try again next week for a third time…

Can this place be any more fabulous? It’s small and quaint inside. The menu isn’t that big but it’s just enough. I was introduced to the bakery by visiting The Green Market in Delray on Saturday’s and was so excited when this place opened up down the street from me. The almond and chocolate(Belgium chocolate) croissant is to die for. But my absolute favorite are the biscuits. You can choose ham or turkey(both with provolone). These biscuits are magical. They’re just different and a must try. They have the perfect amount of herbs on them and need nothing else. I love grabbing some at 7:30 am right when they open. I bring them to work and they’re still warm from just being baked. Do your self a favor and try this place. Oh, they’re closed Monday’s.

Wow… Thought I was in Paris. This out of the way, unexpected gem needs our support to stay. My husband and I bought two different sandwiches to share. The mozzarella, tomato and basil baguette was incredible. The bread was crunchy to perfection, the fresh basil was pungent and mozzarella fresh. Our other choice was a baguette of baked Brie. I thought both breads would taste identical. However, It tasted totally different from our first baguette. Even more delicious, this baguette had a savory garlic flavor with a creamy mild Brie that was fabulous. I had to struggle to decide which sandwich to leave for the lasting last bite. An open window to the bakery was innovative along with the upbeat atmosphere. The playful owner came to direct me as to where the dirty dishes lived, gave me a hug, kiss and a card. He said that it is we, the Unilocal crew that helps him to stay afloat. Go and give it a try. You won’t be sorry.
