Poor management. Worst service. They recently doubled their prices. The rest room is disgusting and the food is mediocre. The only reason we accepted the sub par taste was due to the reasonable prices now they want you to over pay for the same basic food they served before. If you increase prices you need to add more value not less. This place is trash! After addressing the issue with the manager, he cursed us out! Unacceptable. You will be reported to the BBB.

This was our first experience eating at this restaurant. We ordered miso soup which was typical and good. Tried the mee grob and it wasn’t what we expected– it says noodles and shrimp. They give two tiny shrimp on top of fried crunch noodles. Nothing special. We ordered two cucumber wrapped rolls(KC was the better one) which were yummy. Will go again and try a different appetizer.

I come here about once a week as it’s very close to my house and gym. Always friendly service and the Thai food is delicious. Definitely recommended to try if you’re in the area.

I’ve been to this location a few times and it’s progressively gotten better. Nothing special about the dining experience but the staff is attentive. I’ve tried a few items off their menu and their pricing is pretty fair for sushi rolls. Their volcano roll compared to their competitors, is overloaded with mayonnaise. Just too much. However the other rolls I have gotten have been pretty good! Try the salmon skin roll or the dancing eel roll here. I love a good tom kha soup and theirs is definitely on par. Unfortunately I’ve never had a smaller tom kha soup for that high of a price! $ 6.95 for the tiniest thing. Boo.

Great food, one of my favorite places to get rolls and Thai, quiet atmosphere!!! Staff is very friendly, the service is good but tends to be slow and relaxed so plan on relaxing and sitting a while.

For sushi in Delray, I will typically go here. I’ve dined in once(it was super slow), picked up take out numerous times, and they even deliver if you meet the minimum. They have a nice size sushi roll list and a good variety of options. Also, very reasonably priced. I’ve never had the Thai food, but the Tom Kar soup was pretty up to par… it’s definitely worth a try.

Small quaint Japanese restaurant in shopping center. I have eaten here may times, everyone that goes here loves it. The«Lobster Bomb Roll» is amazing! I strongly recommend this restaurant. Just went tonight February 9, 2016 with my wife again. We had our favorite Lobster Bomb Roll that we split naturally. It didn’t let us down, we are stuffed. Try it!

The massaman curry was the best I’ve had! Delicious sweet peanut flavor with savory veggies and moist steamed rice. The portion of my meal was large enough for me to have 2 servings of leftovers after my initial helping. The meal was fresh and tasty even after being microwaved. The refreshing iced Thai tea, a favorite of mine, is a must have. The service was prompt and friendly. I recieved my fresh meal in no time. I look forward to returning soon to SushiMasa to satisfy my curry craving!

Ok let me start by saying this is a review of the sushi and service only, I haven’t eaten the regular menu food items. I’ve eaten at the regular tables and the sushi bar and I’ve found the current servers to be very attentive filling my water glass before it ever made it to empty. They also removed any empty plates as soon as they were cleared of food. Sitting at the sushi bar is a pleasure Fernando the Sushi chef started me off with a free tuna salad(see photo) that was absolutely delicious. He was also very personable taking the time to talk and get to know me. As far as the sushi goes it’s always fresh and it is very reasonably priced. I have tried at least 12 different rolls and have nothing bad to say about any of them. This last stop in I had the Lobster volcano roll which was amazing, it’s a whole lobster tail done tempura style with baked lobster and scallops on top and the left over lobster is placed in a martini glass the overall presentation is beautiful(see photo) it’s well worth the $ 25 price tag. I also had a sex underground roll which is a must try. I’ve read the previous negative reviews about the service they all seem to be old and before the current management because as I said everyone is always very attentive, maybe they took the bad reviews to heart and corrected the problems. So I wouldn’t let the previous bad reviews deter you from trying this place, give it a shot and see for yourself.

Worst delivery place ever!!! Ordered 1 hour and 48 minutes ago and still not received the meal yet! And they are stupid and barely speak English on the phone when we’ve called to ask where it is. Avoid if you want to eat the same week you order

Pretty good lunch spot. They set out a small buffet with salad, soup and cold chicken wings you can help yourself to while you wait for your food. I don’t know why the chicken wings are cold all the time. The food is pretty good but not consistent. I ordered the crispy squid dish and it was so good. But the next time I ordered it, it was overcooked and tough. Totally not edible. The volcano chicken, pad woon sen, pad thai, the sushi and the curries are very good. But I would only eat here during lunch hour prices. The inconsistent food quality prevents me from coming here for dinner.

They can’t always deliver. They only have one guy for that job. This is my favorite sushi place to order from. They’re attentive in & out of the restaurant. Very well made sushi. Would recommend to any sushi lovers

What a hidden gem. This is a great little spot. The food is excellent and the prices are reasonable. I had the volcano roll and shrimp tempura roll. Both rolls were great. The food tasted fresh, the service was fast and the waitress was attentive. I will definitely return when I come back to Delray Beach

Disgusting. This used to be one of the greatest hole in the wall spots in Delray. Went right when the theater closed and it was intact. Now seems under different ownership. Firstly: terrible service. Edamame served with a fork, no silver on the table, chopsticks provided(my companion needed silver). The kick in the butt came when the tea was served with a tea bag floating in a plastic mug… no spoon and no server to provide one. Then when they came to refill with water it was being served out of a Bunn warmer carafe! Seriously? All this with top 40 american radio music playing in the background. Sushi rock… not quite. Perhaps entertaining to the 20 year olds all working there, none who spoke a lick of our language, but more importantly, none understood or ever stopped at our table to even bring xtra plastic plates(yep, it’s all plastic for that price). Salad dressing was disgusting. Served on WET lettuce. I poured about ¼ cup of water out of the salad. Asked for a side order and it was all watered down too. We ordered 2 cold rolls, decent but served with the worst ponzu sauce I’ve ever tasted. Wish I’d brought the good old bottle from home. Everything seemed watered down. I couldn’t believe I put at least 3 dollops(I’m a lightweight) of wasabi in the ponzu and it still had absolutely no kick or taste!!! Cost saver? Also ordered sashimi entrée and it hadn’t changed except for a terrible presentation. The menu was totally different than what is now on line! NEVER again unless sashimi to go. Stay away! The boynton one stinks too!

I had an excellent first time experience here. We were a party of 8 of various ages, appetites, and specific dietary requirements and everybody seemed very happy at the end of their meal. Those that had Thai, those that had Japanese food, and those that had sushi all said they enjoyed their food. Personally, I had two specialty rolls and they were both very good. They were also both incredibly large. When my plate came, I thought that it contained both rolls. She then brought out a 2nd plate and I thought a mistake had been made as this plate also looked like it contained two rolls. Yes, each roll was that large. I had never seen a sushi roll this large before and wound up sharing a lot with my co-diners. One would have been enough for me and I’m a big eater.

Not very good sushi… Ordered the beauty and the beast roll and one other. Overall was just unsatisfied. The rice in the rolls was very cold which is odd because they had only been open 20 minutes which means yesterday’s or who knows when rice… If you’re looking for good sushi in Delray, so far the only place I’ve enjoyed is Ziree Thai & Sushi off Atlantic. And, not sure what all the hype of Lemongrass is about, even that isn’t good.

Breaks my heart to give this place a non-great review. Been coming here forever and I probably would have given it 4 stars. Rolls are good, service is quick, a bit pricey, but nothing to complain about. This experience was completely ruined — the point where you don’t even taste the food in your mouth. Pre-movie dinner — great stop — right near the theater. However as soon as we sat down, my partners side of the table was sticky — yucky stick as though the last patron spilled teriyaki sauce and it hadnt been cleaned. We asked our waitress, and she just looked, said sorry and didn’t bother even getting a cloth. While my dinner partner went to wash his sticky hands I asked for a rag and tried to wipe it myself. It was just wet so it didnt help much. We waited a while for our food, and lo and behold the chicken teriyaki came out cold. It seemed that all their focus was on a big party of about 10. The owner, a lovely man is usually there — however it was obvious without his watchful eyes the service is completely blasé. The sushi was still good, no complaints there, but the table stayed sticky throughout, we werent offered an apology — the«manager» came over and argued that this wasnt sticky. It wasn’t cool. I doubt I’ll eat there again. Unpleasant. It’s a shame.

Mafia Roll! Sounds big doesn’t it?! Well, it is! Met up with some of my friends for some sushi. Now, I’m not a sushi sensei in any sense of the word… so my review is one of a beginner’s perspective. . The mafia roll is «Spicy Tuna, Scallions, Tempura Chrunch, topped with tuna, avocado and bangkok sauce»(Taken from site). It’s really big, about 12 pcs or so. Definitely liked the tempura topping atop, gave it a bit of crunchiness… try it with the ginger and some low-sodium soy sauce to seal the deal. Also, sampled the kamikaze roll which is also prepared with spicy tuna but is wrapped in seaweed. The kamikaze roll came in about 6 pcs and was tasty as well. The menu seems a bit more than I would fancy but its worth stopping in and enjoying some sushi!
