Delray Beach Tennis Complex

Delray Beach Tennis is a great public facility with Clay & Hard Courts with lights. Location is why I give this facility 5 stars walking distance to Atlantic Ave & the Beach. Jeff Kantor teaching pro 5 stars just one of the many nicest teaching pros there. Cardio Day & Night drills 4 stars I will update to 5 stars if they add music to their cardio drills =) You can find all levels at this facility. Parking is 3 stars This public facility has dressing room; lockers & showers 2 stars because of the humidity in the bathroom feels like you never took a shower! 1 star for the local panhandlers. I have been approached several times in the parking lot each time they are very friendly but I rather not feel guilty that I do not have change to give each time I go to this facility which is multiple times weekly. They have membership available but you still have to pay for court lights & and all drills range from $ 12mixers-​$ 25cardio drills… so really just a small benefit if you prepay for their «membership» Lots of programs for Children! Over All you will have a great time at Delray Beach Tennis facility.

I can honestly say I’ve never paid to play on a tennis court. I’ve always found a high school or public park that had one, and gone from there. So, when the bf and I wanted to play a match while on vacation in Delray Beach, we found ourselves at a loss. The only option: the Delray Beach Tennis Center.
The current rate was $ 10/​person for 1.5 hours which, for a person not used to paying, that was a hefty sum ($ 20 just to get my butt kicked!). And that’s about it for my complaints.
The good stuff: The staff member was very friendly, letting us know that the court wasn’t scheduled for use after us (ie. if you go over time, no one’s going to hunt you down, so play away); the facility is very professional, the courts up-​to-​date and well-​kept.
And you can’t help but feel like a pro walking past the center court in all its glory.

Can’t say enough great things about this facility! Well run, beautiful, clean! Makes you proud to live in Delray Beach and to have access to such a nice tennis facility. ITC was great. Awesome kids programs. My son did the Spring Break Camp. It was affordable, well run and he loved it. Love the coaches!

Played My first APT– TRY OUT here. It’s litterally in the heart of downtown. One block away from high end shopping and Restaurants. About half mile away from the beach. Rich tennis community there. People are well informed and excited for the events held. All courts are of the of the highest quality.(Clay and Hard) Staff is on top of draws and keep the game flow up. Cutting back on wait times. Which is exactly what I look for as a player. I Couldn’t think of a better place to play tennis when in Boca.
