This place is adorable and I love the tiki bar! I stayed here for a week and have no complaints. Lots of cute and quirky art throughout. Would stay here again!

This place is an amazing find– a little step back in time for the laid back feel of old school vacationing– winding walkways through local vegetation, two small pools, a covered pavilion with a hammock and several small fountains transported us away from our ‘normal’ lives. Care went into every detail– from the friendly welcoming at arrival, to the impeccably kept rooms. Free waters and beach towels and bag storage for our early arrival, with the same upon leaving(even a place to shower since they had an open hospitality suite that day). Little extras like single size woolite packs to wash your suits, made you feel almost like you were a guest at a friends’ home. Much more character than your typical resort. A hidden haven.

We attended ad food and wine event at Crane’s benefiting the wounded worrier project. The ticket was $ 11. There were only about 7 restaurants present. There wasn’t much food and a lot of the restaurants were offering the exact same foods. The wine, beer and regular drinks had to be purchased they were about $ 7 each. I have never stayed at this resort but it looked cute. Very small and boutique like. Small pool, probably 30 rooms. Limited parking. It’s located off of Atlantic Ave in delray which is a great location.

How did I not know about this place living in the area for almost a decade? This gem is hidden right behind Burgerfi. Great location. Across the street from the beach and walking distance to all the great restaurants in downtown Delray. The rooms all have a stocked kitchenette or a kitchen with plates, bowls and utensils. There are two pools on the property, private patios for each rooms, fire pit, and a super cute and lit up outdoor bar area with a hammock. I really felt like I was on vacation away from my daily routine. I got a free bottle of wine for checking in with Unilocal which was pretty awesome. I was very happy with my stay here at this boutique hotel. The guy at the office was very nice and helpful. I would definitely stay here again next time I need a mini staycation in the area.

Stayed here a couple of days ago in the villa suite & it was fab! Very friendly staff, cute property. The suite had a complimentary bottle of wine, Keurig coffee machine, stove, living room with big screen TV, bedroom with big screen. Clean shower with nice bath products. Complimentary muffins, bagels, juice by pool.(Could be a little bit better) great place to stay if you want to be by the nightlife action & close to the beach.

FANTASTIC. not only did I get upgraded to a suite but my sister didn’t have turn down service and they apologized with gift cards and refunds. Free champagne, gorgeous private pools, what could be better. Will definitely return. Bill at the front desk was the best! Thank you so much!!!

What a great boutique hotel. First class service right off Atlantic Ave and a block to the beach. They also have a great bartender at their cute Tiki bar. I think her name is Jessica, super nice! Great staff and well maintained establishment.

It’s been a few years since my stay at Crane’s Beachhouse, but it was great. This is very different then a hotel, you can have a nice townhouse or apartment setting with a full living room, kitchen, pantry… etc. Everything was amazing, this option is a MUCH better option then renting a hotel room. It’s a 5 minute walk to Atlantic Ave and 5 min walk to the ocean! Perfect.

I just stayed in Cranes with my wife, her mom and her 93 year old grandmother. The staff were exceptional from our booking enquiry to the moment we left the resort. When we arrived there was a small problem with our booking and Adam and Lauren went above and beyond to fix the problem. Both Adam and Lauren were extremely helpful and attentive. The resort is absolutely gorgeous, the pools are really pretty and the landscaping is of a standard you’d expect from a botanical garden. We have stayed here twice now and both rooms were spacious and very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this resort to anyone thinking of staying in Delray.

Really??? I haven’t even arrived yet and Ashley is the bomb!!! Talk about customer service? Crane’s should be proud to have her as an employee! Make sure you talk to her when booking! Heard great things about this hotel in Delray!!! Will let you know! I’m sure I won’t be disappointed!!!

Came to Cranes for a mini staycation weekend loved the quiet ambiance of the hotel and relaxing feel. Staff is helpful and very friendly. Only down side was that parking on Saturday night was not that great(limited parking) however, it does not detour me from staying here again. I can not wait to return!

Great place to stay in Del. exactly as described on website. Comfortable rooms. Quiet. Incredible staff and service. Two pools that get great sun throughout the day. Continental breakfast was pretty bad. Poor quality fruit and doesn’t start until 9 am. Otherwise. A great stay.

My Husband and I stayed 7 nights at the brand new Villas at Crane’s Beach House a few weeks ago. I am not usually one to write a negative review, but I reluctantly am so others know what they are getting if booking one of the villas there. We were in villa 27. Upon first glance, the villa seems nice. Weathered wood-look tiled floors, spacious living area, kitchen and good sized bedroom. The furnishings are a bit tacky: a white leatherette sofa and a wood framed chair face a large wall mounted tv, with cables and wires dangling from it. A parsons table inappropriately sits in front of the tv, presumably to hold the cable box and modem for internet. A cable is strung across to an outlet a few feet away. The sofa was incredibly uncomfortable as was the chair. You would never want to sit on it in a skirt or short pants, as you’d stick to it. The kitchen was the biggest disappointment. The refrigerator leaked huge puddles on the floor, and the although there was a huge oven, there was only a 120 volt two burner cooktop which took about 20 minutes to boil water. Bathroom was too small for two people at a time. The hotel offers«continental breakfast», but it is nothing more than plastic wrapped muffins and unripened fruit. Not even fresh squeezed orange juice. I say all this because at rates of $ 650 a night, I expect more in Florida for that price. The villa came with reserved parking, but anytime we left, someone would park in one of the 4 reserved villa spots(the spot wasn’t permanently dedicated for villa 27). We often had to park on a side street. Of all the villas, 27 is the best of the 4. The other upstairs villa’s balcony faces the swimming pool with the tiki bar, so there are always people out(bar crowd or live music) there offering you no privacy. The two lower units have no railing or enclosures on their deck area so they lack privacy as well. Ours was the nicest facing some of the lush tropical gardens – the nicest thing about the property. It is well manicured and has great Florida style from the outside. Location is fantastic. The inside was a disappointment.

Great little spot in Delray. Came here with my parents over Christmas for a few days, and we ended up staying in one of their recently renovated villas. It was a cozy one bedroom, but it had everything we needed. The proximity to the beach and the free beach chairs they lend are great! It was a little chilly when we were there, so we didn’t try the on-site pools or bars. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The one thing they could work on is the breakfast options(mentioned in a few other reviews). The fruit was kind of chewy/old and had clearly been purchased already cut. The«hot» options were just frozen tarts reheated. And then they had yogurts and bread products. It was adequate, but it was definitely an incentive to leave the resort area for all three meals.

This is the only place I’ll stay in Delray beach. I stayed here once and they spoiled me. The rooms on the 2nd floor are more recently renovated. Our room was great big bedroom and big kitchen can do your own cooking if you like. The place has two salt water pools. Free continental breakfast at the tiki bar. It’s set in a tropical oasis you have no idea where you are and don’t wanna know. The staff is very welcoming and more like your friends. they will help you with restaurants and other attractions in the area. They are one block from the beach and I brought my kite and flew it. This is by far a real get away give it a try you will keep coming back

Great place to stay. Suites are very large and pet friendly for an extra charge of $ 20 per night. Everyone who works here are all very friendly and want to make sure your stay is relaxing. Loved having the fresh cookies daily in the office, and daily breakfast that lasts until 11am. There are 2 pools to enjoy and a tiki bar that is open Thur-Sat. We were able to walk only a few blocks to the beach and all of our dining options were all very close by, so you really don’t need a car. The beds are heavenly and super comfy. It was nice to have a full kitchen with fridge since we were staying for 5 days.

Beware! I reserved a room by telephone about 3 weeks before I was to stay here. My credit card was charged the FULL amount of my stay on the day I reserved the room! I called Cranes about 10 days prior to my stay and asked to cancel my reservation and was told it was a non refundable rate and to put my request in writing, which I did, but I received a long note back, bottom line, NO refund, no compensation whatsoever. Too Bad. Long story short, I was charged the full amount of my stay here but NEVER stayed here! Cranes must be a desperate place to do things like that to people. They are all nice over the phone, but do nasty things like take your money, PLUS I’ve been getting post cards in the mail thanking me for staying there. Also, beware of places on Unilocal that have their reviews filtered!

My wife and I visited this great find tucked away off a side street just east of Federal highway a block or so off the BEACH. They have their own beach too. Well, some private sand, tiki bar, and great staff. The rooms are decorated wonderfully. Put this stop on your list. Say Paul told ya to stay with them. Paul from Fbook. They’ll know who. Enjoy your stay! We love love love Cranes!

We stayed here for just two nights in April. Wifey says this is the one of her favorite hotels she’s ever stayed at. I can understand why. Location: 1 block from shopping and restaurants on Atlantic Ave, and 1 block from the beach. The city of Delray, and walking along Atlantic Ave reminded me of the upscale beach neighborhoods of Los Angeles, like Laguna Beach or Marina Del Ray. There’s art, fashion, good food, and lots of people out enjoying the beautiful weather. The beach itself is gorgeous and packed with people. The water is a beautiful azure blue, with gentle to medium waves, and the sand is soft and white. This hotel could not be better located. Outside Space: Gorgeous gorgeous grounds, lush with tropical plants, two saline chlorine pools, one with a waterfall, several little nooks in the garden with plentiful outdoor seating, tables, benches, even a hammock for 2! The rooms: they only have about 30 rooms, making this an intimate boutique hotel, very quiet and not at all crowded. Even though they were fully booked, it felt like we had the place mostly to ourselves. Most of their lodging is 1 or 2 bedroom suites, although they have a couple smaller rooms as well. Of the smaller rooms, the BeachHouse rooms and Cabana rooms are the same size, with the difference being that the BeachHouse has a full kitchen while the Cabana has a kitchenette. The amenities: The bed is very soft and very comfortable, as were the plentiful pillows. The shower was big enough for two, with mediocre water pressure. We appreciated having a safe in the room that’s big enough to store a laptop or two along with a purse and other valuables. There’s a small cable TV in the room, but we’re not here to watch TV. Our room had a fully stocked kitchen, including stove, full sized fridge and freezer, coffee machine, etc. Food and drink: The Tiki bar is open Friday and Saturday night, with a free drink coupon for guests. The free continental breakfast buffet was served in a beautiful outdoor gazebo space. The food was your normal continental breakfast fare: yogurt, muffins, bagels, coffee, juice, cereal, and bananas. They have a couple charcoal BBQs out by the pool that some of the other guests were using to grill up a nice meal for themselves. Special touches: The staff were super helpful, warm, and friendly. They went out of their way to make sure all our needs were met. We were there for Easter and loved the Easter egg hunt and gourmet cupcakes in our rooms. This kind of special treatment really made us feel like royalty during our stay. We also took advantage of the chairs and umbrellas for guests to bring to the beach. While I’m definitely giving Crane’s BeachHouse 5 stars, there are always opportunities for improvement: When booking our rooms online, It took some fine-detail reading of the website to figure out the difference between the Cabana and BeachHouse rooms. This could be made much clearer. There’s free WiFi throughout the grounds, which is great, but the DSL was shockingly slow. It was nearly unusable. I tested download speeds to be about 250kbps, which is atrocious. It took minutes to pull up a website or download an email. Skyping or streaming music or video was out of the question. My iPhone only had 2 bars and it was getting speeds 4 – 5 times faster than this over AT&T’s crappy 3G cellular network. If you plan to do business during your trip, this may be a hinderance. The continental breakfast was fine, but with the rest of our stay being so amazing, it stood out as being just okay. I would have loved to see it be exceptional. Fresh baked muffins or pastries and assorted fresh fruit would have gone a long way. In summary, I would DEFINITELY stay here again and recommend my friends and fellow Unilocalers stay here. We loved it! Thanks so much for a wonderful vacation Crane’s!
