I’ve had several dinners at the one six five and they have all been very good. But my favorite time to go is for lunch. The $ 12 lunch includes beverage and desert. The presentation and preparation are far better than the price would suggest, and the atmosphere is pleasant and relaxing.

This is the best restaurant in Delmar — it’s off the beaten path so I think people forget it’s here. The food is interesting and well prepared and the staff is lovely. Prices are pretty reasonable considering the high quality. For lunch today I had two appetizers — Greek chicken flatbread and champagne cranberry salad. It was delicious and so filling I had to take half home. There’s always a nice selection of draft beer and cider plus the usual drinks.

Wow! One Six Five had many delicious options with the perfect atmosphere. Our hostess with the mostess, Maureen, and our server, Kendra, were super friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. The moscow mule and margaritas were splendid. Thank you for a great night, ladies! We will be back!

We went to One Six Five specifically for their happy hour. There were specials on drinks and small plates were $ 4 each.(Tuesday through Friday from 4 — 7pm). Had the buttermilk fried chicken sliders, everything hummus, fried cheese curd and short rib flatbread, along with a Moscow Mule and a Dark & Stormy. Oh and we shared a piece of chocolate pecan tart for dessert. The food was excellent, beautifully presented and fresh. The drinks were even served in copper cups! We’ve eaten in the dining room, which is also good, but we highly recommend the bar. It’s a great place to gather with friends and enjoy some food and drinks.

I never give a five, so wish I could give 4.75 here. We were so pleasantly surprised. Expecting mediocre food, but most everything was 5 star. The bread was fresh and perfect. The butters were creative and unadulterated by refrigerator odor, though a bit old. My entrée was lovely, chicken with lemon grass(a flavor which I have loved since olden days at Yono’s) crispy on the outside and tender inside. Dessert was WARM chocolate cookies with peanut butter mousse with excellent whipped cream. Wow. Companion– not known for his appreciation of aesthetics– commented repeatedly on the wonderful presentation. He even requested Chef Ken to come out so he could thank him. THAT has never happened before! Service very good. Ambiance good. Prices — good value. We ‘ll definitely be back. PS: We dined on an uncrowded Wednesday night.

We went there for a drink and some appetizers and were very impressed. The atmosphere was nice and staff was extremely friendly. We got the sliders and they were fantastic. I would definitely recommend stopping by if you are in the area!

Better call first, our group stopped by on Black friday 11⁄29 to find it closed… This is not the first time but most likely the last. The members may put up with the wacky hours however, the public won’t.

It was about 1⁄3 full in the restaurant but they had a Halloween party in the function room that looked like fun. We both had specials which were good, well done well presented. Service was fast, friendly, knowledgeable.

The waitress Melissa was outstanding. The food was Mediocre at best. I had the Bistro steak. It was cooked medium as requested but was not at all tender. My wife had a flatbread that was partially burned and not very tasty. I had a glass of Merlot and I had to ask if it actually was Merlot as it tasted like a dry Chianti. The waitress kindly replaced it with a Cabernet that tasted just as odd. We went because we had a Double Take Deal. Probably not again

I’ve been here three times to dine in the last one year and I always think«airline food served on fancy plates.» May be not as bad as most economy-class meals, but on par with some medicore business class meals(which I endure because of the circumstances). All the main dishes I had so far were just too salty. Nice atmosphere and service though. I just wish their food matched these attributes.

This is the dining room at the Normanside Country Club. The public is welcomed the same as the club members. It is a nice opportunity to enjoy the ambiance of a historic private club and I can report that the food and service are both five star. I especially like the salads and the appetizers. The p.e.i. mussels can be had three different ways and the calamari is a unique preparation, in a sweet chili glaze with a kick from jalepenos. The menu offers traditional and some new-American takes on dishes, mostly shrimp, chicken and steaks and St. Louis ribs. Service is very attentive. The tables have more than adequate spacing. The dining room has high ceilings, large chandeliers, a fireplace and wide plush chairs giving it a very classy touch. Nevertheless, casual dress is perfectly O.K.
