Second Sole Athletic Shoes

I went last week to look for walking shoes the gentleman with the beard was very helpful and we determined I needed shoes wider than they carry so he ordered a pair for me.
Went back today to try them on the man with the beard was heing another person so a man with gray hair came out told him I was here because the shoes that were oreded were in and that Dan had called me.
The shoe box was handed to me. I said I wanted to try them on to see if they fit. The gray haired man stated I hope so they were special ordered.
Went to the chairs expecting help with fitting. None received. (bearded gentleman was still assisting another person)
Bottom line the shoes were not comfortable so I said sorry they don’t work. Gray haired man so am I and ‘stomped off’
I left apologizing to bearded gentleman for being an inconvenience.
I wanted to shop locally my mistake trying to do it with Second Sole

We all know how difficult it can be to shop for clothing online. Different brands fit differently, and even different lines within a brand fit differently!
I bought an Under Armour short sleeve from Second Sole on Amazon, and as you can guess, the size and fit was way off for my body type (which often happens when you don’t have the luxury to try things on… aka Internet shopping).
Well, an exchange or two later and we usually get exactly what we want. Dan (who seems to be the store manager, if not owner), was excellent in working with me over the phone and email, describing how the different lines fit, and understanding enough to accommodate multiple transactions!
They’re definitely knowledgable at Second Sole and understand the online shopping business model more than most!
My only recommendation for them is to include a prepaid return shipping label, which can be done affordably by merchants using Amazon’s ‘Fulfilled by Amazon’ service. I’m sure sales would go way up because people nowadays prefer Amazon ‘Prime’.
Regardless, I paid for return shipping this time around and it was only a couple bucks… But just a hassle to make my way to the Post Office which defeats the ‘shop in your underwear’ Internet shopping appeal (hence, the loss of half a star).
Overall, good shopping experience! Will do business with second sole again.
