My room is amazing! I literally said — is this a Super 8!!! Swanky upgrades and I still see the plastic on the new box spring! Water bowl sink fixtures, laminated wood to carpet to tile mix from entry to bathroom and bedroom. New linens and great water pressure! I’m thoroughly shocked and pleasantly so!!! Okay the towels need an upgrade the there are messy details like caulking and paint marks etc. but really who cares about that! Look at the new upgrades on the photos!!!

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at in my life. There was an odor in the room that would not go away, the toilet was not attached to the floor, the door stuck, there were bugs in the room, no fridge or microwave .and as you went to the front desk the smell of food frying got worse. smelled from smoke(non smoking rooms)…seemed like a hang out for transients. DONT waste your time on this one!

I do not ever recall Super 8 hotels as being nasty, but YUCK, this was the worst hotel I have EVER stayed in & definitely the last time I will ever consider a Super 8! When we walked into our room we noticed a nasty smell that resembled a wet dog as well as cigarette smoke(rooms are all non-smoking rooms). We figured it had to be the chemicals the cleaning ladies used and that we would eventually adjust to it. Next my husband found that the toilet had been used and left completely unflushed! As wrong as that was, we still tried to give them the benefit of the doubt & assumed perhaps it was the maintenance man. Then when I went to the restroom I noticed that the toilet was all dirty and appeared that it had never even been cleaned. I had to go so I used a wash cloth and wiped it down. We were still TRYING to hang in there because the front desk lady had previously stated that the hotel was full and since we had booked online with Cheaptickets we no longer had the option to cancel the room. We went out for awhile and returned late that night. My husband was going to put the beverages from our cooler into the frig, but the frig would not work & it was also leaking water. We figured we would see if we could switch rooms in the morning since they were booked already & since it was so late. Not to mention that we were already unpacked. While I was laying in the bed my husband noticed that there was a pair of men’s black underwear on the floor next to the couch! As disturbing as that was, we assumed that since they were booked there would not be another option until morning. The next morning as I was getting ready to head to the front desk I noticed that a half used bottle of shampoo was sitting on top of the shower surround! We went to the front desk and complained & they were able to switch us to a different room. The second room was almost equally as bad! The room had that same nasty stench and the shower rod was broken. We felt as though it was a lost cause so we alerted the front desk & told them we would hopefully still be able to shower. The next morning when I went to make some coffee I found a dirty coffee pot with what appeared to be a tea bag inside that was hardened and stuck to the bottom! The shower was not easy as the broken rod was hanging down in such a way that would not allow the curtain to remain closed and therefore water was all over the toilet and the floor was just soaked! That was a major hazard as one of us could have slipped and fell!!! We checked out as soon as we possibly could and as we were driving away feeling completely disgusted, my husband informed me that he was woken in the middle of the night by a huge spider that was crawling on his arm!!! Yes that COULD technically happen anywhere we know, however it happened there after EVERYTHING else! Our guess is that these rooms are barely cleaned ATALL and god only knows if they have their rooms sprayed for bugs! It was a terrible terrible experience for us and we would never suggest a Super 8 hotel or booking online with Cheaptickets! If I could have chosen zero or negative stars I would have!

Think of the homeless man living under your local bridge. Then think of his armpit. Thats this hotel.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Rates weren’t bad. But sometimes first impressions are very telling: the halls smelled like a dirty dog. Got to the room and it had a strong odor of urine and tobacco smoke. Explained to the staff and requested a different room, which was better but had a scarcity of power outlets and bedsheets that smelled like they hadn’t been washed. A few ants appeared in the room as well. Vending machine was out of most items. But at least the staff was courteous.

Compared with another Super 8 I’ve stayed at in Indiana, this one is not as impressive. The rooms are clean but the towels are so rough. I guess I was treated too well at the Indiana one, this super start breakfast had cereal, oatmeal, cinnamon rolls, coffee and a waffle maker. It didn’t have hot water in its hot water container. the fruit basket had one orange left sitting there, and there’s no yogurt, let alone activia yogurt like in Indiana! Ok I guess I’ve been spoiled and now I’m lowering my expectations for all Super 8s.
