Was a good place until it changed hands, and then the portions got smaller, prices increased, and attitudes got larger.
What else can I say? Wouldn’t eat here on a bet.

Had the Italian Beef with Provolone. The bread was somewhat stale and the beef was just OK. They’re Delivery subcontractor, Nick with «Grid Runner Delivery», was by far more friendly than the owner/​cook & his cashier. Other times I’ve gone, the food & service have been noteworthy.

I like to change it up from the standard Subway/Quizno’s fare. It’s a local joint that supports recreational leagues and district sports. It seems like a great spot to take a team out after a game, with a big seat yourself dinning room and a few video games. You order at the counter and pick up at the window.
I ordered the Italian sub. I expect a lot out of them, given my love for Snarf’s in Boulder, CO – so this one was okay. I got the foot-​long, which was probably 14-​inches, for about $ 8. Good fries. The space is a little messy looking, but it has its charm.

The only place I know of in Walworth County that has a good Italian Beef Sandwich. Most often the meat is tender, thin sliced and seasoned just right. The quality of the fries is iffy though. One day they are really tasty and the next visit they’re kinda funny tasting. Maybe they need to change the oil more often? I like that they have tamales too. Hubby likes the Combo and has never had a bad one. The only reason I won’t give 5 stars is this: I stopped in and ordered and was watching the cook. He was preparing an gyro and used what looked to me like leftover meat. He took it out of the fridge and warmed it up on the griddle. So if you want a gryo go and order it so you get fresh meat.
