I find myself browsing at Hometown Wine and Spirits every time I eat in downtown Delvan. It just works out that way because its conveniently located in the middle of main strip and even connected to one of the restaurants.
The associates there are very helpful and are always willing to offer their recommendations or give you a sample. I find their prices reasonable and I enjoy supporting small businesses like this one!

I love this place! Great selection of many wines that you can’t find in the big box stores usually. My visit will usually start at the wine shop, then over to the lounge for a drink, then dinner at Harvest Café. Their tasting events are very nice and worth the drive. I wish they had a more active web site of current features and booze reviews.

This business is a nice addition to Delavan, and much needed here. It’s also great that the shop is right next door to the Harvest Café, probably the most popular restaurant in the area – you can buy a bottle at Hometown and drink it at the Harvest Café – I believe the Harvest Café waives the corking fee if you buy at Hometown. Hometown has a very nice selection of reds, whites, sparkling, and dessert wines, import and domestic, as well as a smaller but choice selection of spirits and beer. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about what they sell. The prices are what you would expect for tolerable to very good wine, from the $ 20s and up.
