El Molcajete Restaurante and Cantina

Good food. Good service. Good margaritas. Will go back for sure. Small place with maybe 15 tables. Bar sits 3. Jewel out in the country. Mound/​Minnetrista needs one.

This family run buisness falls nothing short of expectations. It’s a friendly and fun environment with an incredible menu. The food was absolutely amazing! Everything from the soup to the burritos we ate were delicious! I highly recommend this place for anyone in the Delano area!!!

This little place does not look like much from the street but the food and staff are out of this world!

First time going there, but had been hearing good reviews from family and friends. Friendly service and got seated right away. Margaritas were delicious (and huge). Delicious food and rightly priced. Definitely will return!

I’ve only visited this restaurant once so far, but I became a fan immediately so I wanted to share a quick review.
The building itself has an uninviting exterior, and the inside feels more cliched than authentic, but I quickly forgot about all that when we experienced the service and food. My mother had visited the day before (admittedly, there aren’t a lot of restaurant options in the immediate vicinity), and our server remembered exactly what she drank and ate, and as a result, he was able to get her the same selections when she couldn’t quite remember herself. In addition, we were given a double serving of the complimentary chips and salsa (surprisingly tasty!) without asking, presumably because of our larger group of four adults and two kids. Later, when the server forgot to bring out a beer refill for me, he promptly offered to comp one.
All in all, I really appreciated the genuine service. Add to this above-​par food and a well sized menu, and I guarantee I’ll be back!
