So sad to see this bar fail. It was once my favorite place, but now I can’t bring myself to go in! Kids place now.

under new ownership as of August 2014 (so do not hold prior issues against the current management). Renovations under the new management have transformed a disgusting bar into a comfortable place to hang out with friends and relax. Many TVs line the bar walls and the beer selection is fantastic along with some wine and rice liquor selection. Stop in and give them a try!

I stop in every once in awhile, very comfortable, friendly staff and I enjoy trying different beers. On the down side, when I was in last week there were 5 people charged with dinking alcohol who wee not of age. I hope they tighten up on checking ID. ..

Friendly staff. They serve beer and wine only. Seems like a great local hang out with a friendly crowd. I’d recommend checking it out, especially if you aren’t looking for a «boom-​boom» atmosphere but a relaxing chill place. They sometimes have local bands as well.

Great selection, wonderful bartenders. The staff really knows their stuff — able to make recommendations based on what you like and are there to help you have a good time. The bar itself is a little dark and shady — but i love it. The drinks were mediocre as far as price go but they have a GREAT happy hour and good specials.

I’m so used to the silent bartenders with the «Whatchu want?» looks that Blind Pig was a breath o’ fresh air for me. Completely unpretentious service, even notably friendly, with PBR on tap (it seems like my area has a lack of that… WHY? No, I don’t want your Bud Lite!). I also remember them having some kind of delicious cider beer back when the taste of beer made me gag.
Overall, pretty sweet dive bar. Grood jrob.

The best thing about this bar is the name! I don’t mean that as an insult at all, I’ve just always enjoyed talking to people about «the Pig.» The bar has a pretty cool ambiance; very dark, smoky and narrow with high ceilings. There is seating at the bar and along one wall. There are maybe a dozen beers on tap, largely domestics and well-​known imports like Heineken. However, I’m told there is a fairly decent selection of bottles as well. They serve sandwiches, but I haven’t tried those either.
I give the Pig three stars for being…“just a bar.” You get a lot of the college set (complete with regular police walk-​throughs) and the music is often loud and just okay. It’s a little too nice to be a dive, but it has a low-​brow sort of appeal. It’s not a bad place to go sit in the dark and have a few at the end of the day.
