Really nice people. They helped with my year end work issues, made fresh coffee without blinking an eye, and gave me a flexible check out time. Our group — All American Rowing — had a blast. Hontoon would be perfect for a family reunion.

$ 200 gets you a pontoon to rent for the day. Staff was friendly and got us on the water quickly. Overall a very nice day on the water.

This has got to be one of Florida’s hidden treasures you must see. Make plans to stay here in the Captain’s Quarter and relax yourself away. Leave all your weekday blues at home and jump on the Pontoon boat and explore the waterways. This day cruise will be the most relaxing you can get. The calm waters and the best of nature views just can’t be recreated any where. Be prepared to rent a boat of your own and fish with the FAMILY. This is definitely a family friendly place or a weekend for two. We opted for the romance of the two of us. The living quarters are so surprisingly nice. The Décor has a 2015 fill with an exterior structure that just doesn’t match with what they have inside for you. At the look of the outside you really don’t expect how 5 star the apartment is. Yes I said apartment! I asked the lady why they call it a motel, I would never stay in a motel but I would gladly stay in this one. She’s says it’s a MOTEL! It’s not, it’s a luxury condo with a motel exterior! Their are private decks for you to enjoy the sun or night air. Unfortunately we booked a hotel for the evening but never again. We will be staying here for a week soon!

I went this weekend for a pontoon boat trip with family and friends. I was promised manatee and gators. They were half right. For about $ 200, ten people can rent a pontoon boat and travel lazily on the river. We spent most of the time looking for animals to photograph. An inordinate amount of time was spent stalking this one manatee who was apparently smarter than a boat-full of PhDs and engineers. Stopping at Blue Springs is a great idea b/c you will most likely find some wildlife chillin’ there. There’s a restaurant/café, picnic tables and other stuff for family trips. If you want to rent a room, it’s $ 110/night.(There isn’t a partial day rate.) Bring sunscreen, bug spray and shades. You will need it.
