We love this ice rink. Clean. Nice. Food is ok. Ice is nice. Cheap. Wish open skate was longer hours or at least evening hours during the week.

Naga-Waukee has been around since the 90’s, it is run by Waukesha County Parks. As a figure skater, I think they maintain the ice well, but I will say that this rink, like most others in Wisconsin, has a lot of hockey use. Nag has league and pick-up hockey, as well as the USFSA Learn to Skate Program. Skate rentals and admission fees are reasonably cheap($ 5−7÷2 hours), but the hours for public ice skating can sometimes be slim. There is a small room that can be arranged for parties. Concession stand has drinks, candy, popcorn, pretzels, pizza and hot dogs. They also sell skate guards and skate laces; they will also sharpen skates. Some arcade games are also available for kids. The rink is easy to access — right of 94– and there is plenty of parking, not to mention plenty of food options nearby. I think its a great place for individuals, families or larger groups. Staff does a decent job keeping the place clean. My only complaint is that they rarely have the heat on for those in the bleachers. Granted, the bleachers are nice and wooden(not cold metal), but I’ve been to many hockey games where the heaters aren’t on. In such cases, I come prepared with a nice fleece blanket. Parents, if you bring your kids and don’t skate — you can stay in the warmer area and enjoy the free wi-fi.
