Gary Levinson, MD

I recently became insured with United Healthcare so I called to ask if they have an MD in their network with a background in integrative medicine (Eastern and Western medicine). To my shock and delight they did. I couldn’t wait to meet this doctor. Five minutes into my appointment with Dr. Gary Levinson at Sharp Rees-​Stealy, I did a mental happy dance. I’m into prevention and finding the root cause of an illness rather than simply covering up the symptoms with drugs. I’m very proactive with the health of my body because it does after all belong to me. Instead of the usual pejorative condescension I’ve experienced with most medical doctors, Dr. Levinson respected my views and talked with me, not down to me. He thoughtfully listened to my concerns, considered my requests and made what I considered to be a well thought out intelligent decision that was completely in sync with my own. Five stars to you Doc. I’m so glad I found you! :)
