Ok so the size of the park is nice, lot of room for the dogs to run in the big side. After they ran around we went to get the dogs some water and neither of the water fountains in the dog parks work. No water is running. I went to the bathrooms they were locked. The water fountain at the restrooms was also turned off. So me being a nature girl and wanting my dogs to not die of heat exhaustion. I found some empty bottles in the trash and climbed down the creek to fill them up with water. If you are going to keep this park open for dogs keep the water on. It has not been anywhere close to freezing in the last week so there is no excuse. Besides my need for a hike they enjoyed the agility course. This is the closest park to my house and I’m very upset about my visit.

This is a fun little dog park set inside of Ray Trent park right off of I-40. They have two areas, one for small dogs and one for large, and happily both areas have toys and slides for your dog to play on! Most days it’s not too busy and everyone has been friendly the times I’ve visited with my pooch. The large dog area is HUGE and will give your dog plenty of room to run out some steam too! And if you have a shy dog(like me) it’s nice to have the Ray Trent park attached so that when your pup gets overstimulated you can go for a calming walk around the people park to calm her down.
