I would love to love this place but I know to many people and myself included that have issues with this place. For one thing the guys checking you in are behind glass and there is a 3−4″ section at the bottom that you can hear through. Now if you are smart you will be wearing hearing protection, so when they talk(sitting 3 feet away from said opening) at a normal level you cannot hear $#!T and they don’t try and speak up. What they do is act like why can’t you hear me and repeat them selves in a jack ass type way. Also if you ask questions they act like why are you asking me this and you obviously don’t know what you are doing. Which is the case, if I knew I wouldn’t be asking you. The safety cannot be argued with, this range is very safe. I like the system in which they operate with the indicators and chains for each booth. What I cannot stand is how quickly they go from a safe range where everyone is back from setting targets and ready to re-enter the booth to a Ceasefire. I cannot load but maybe 210 round 22mags and my a maybe 230 round mags before there is another Ceasefire. I will sometimes be able to get some mags loaded but I get yelled at if I do not allow 3 seconds between each shot. I understand why they do this but it is very annoying and you can get thrown out for repeated failure to comply. I am in no way saying this is a horrible thing that they should change, What I am saying is that it is legalistic and very annoying. I am searching for an unmanned range that I can take more time to get things setup and the freedom to fire how I feel comfortable. Also another drawback is that you cannot use anything other than circular paper targets, any silhouette targets are prohibited. I guess for $ 3 an hour its not bad but I always feel rushed and like I am getting looked down on for something. Just not my most favorite place.
