We have been using A Paw Above the Rest as a dog walking and pet care service for over 10 years and our recommendation couldn’t be any stronger. There have been occasions when we were home at the time APATR came to the house and our dogs were and are always overjoyed to see them. It is immediately clear that not only do our dogs love them, but the folks from APATR love pets.
We also use them for cutting our current dog’s nails. I am always amazed how calmly she sits and allows her nails to be cut. Yet, when I try to do it, it’s the exact opposite!
When making an appointment APATR always tries their best to accommodate our needs. They are always friendly and are completely trustworthy. If anyone ever asks us if we know a dog walker or in-​home pet care, we immediately tell them about A Paw Above the Rest!

My roommates and I had to go out of town for a week, we needed someone to take care of our pet cat, and A Paw Above the Rest came highly recommended by friends. They are insured and bonded, which gives added peace of mind. Their prices are very reasonable, for the excellent personalized service provided. We met with their associate, and they took concise notes while taking the time to learn the layout and meet our cat. They confirmed the dates scheduled, did everything we asked, our cat was well cared for, and was kind enough to even check our mail. We’re quite pleased with A Paw Above the rest, will recommend them to anyone who needs a pet sitter, and will be sure to use them in the future.
