El Tamarindo Pizza

Food was great. The quality of the food was amazing. I got the half cheese, half pepperoni pizza, with the chicken Cesar salad. The salad was dressed up to perfection and the tomatoe sauce on the pizza wasn’t over powering. It was just right.

The best ever! Alex is awesome he recommended their soup, the very best I have ever had!

This business is closed. Today I drove there and it has an disconnected electric notice on the door. There still tables inside, but no one is at that location anymore. Don’t waste your time driving up there, or calling like I did.

When was the last time you went to a restaurant and was spoiled rotten? How many times have u had a waitress anticipate what u need and bring it to u without u even asking? Omg. I just stopped by for some wings and let me tell you. If u are searching for quality. Here is your sign lol. This place is phenomenal. The owner alex is amazing. Great conversation. The service is absolutely amazing. You will will not find a better staff. Beautiful setting. Wings were made Fresh and just lime i like them. Treat yourself and stop by this place as often as u can. I am usually very critical of the places i vist. Customer service is a very important to me. But when i say that this place is flawless. Trust me. I dont know what people are eating here that they are giving 4 stars. Terrible. Save your money. I had the ceviche and rice and beef. Ordered the lechon but they were out. Ceviche was really sour. The rice and beef wasnt bad but too salty for me. I didnt finish it. The waitress was nice. Thats the only thing its got going.

My favorite place in Deerfield beach for lunch. I’ve tried the Pork Chops and love the Carne Asada which are both on the $ 6.99 lunch specials that come with 2 sides.
The service & atmosphere are extremely warm and inviting and clean. Garlic rolls are given when you dine in which are so good. I like to end my meals with a Café con Leche. I’ve been meaning to try the pizza but the steak soooo good, it melts in your mouth and so flavorful with the chimichurri sauce.

This place is my favorite place to get my favorite dish. Chicken Frencese. It’s prepared perfectly every time and the wine sauce with the linguini is so delicious… It’s like an orgasm to my tastebuds. This is the place I first discovered the dish because I worked around the corner and my coworker recommended it one time. I went at least 3 days a week for the first few weeks to have that meal. Then it became a once a week DEMAND for my life. The lunch prices are a bit concerning during the day because it’s so cheap for such a great meal and large portions, I wonder how they can afford to do that. I’ve had their pizza as well but once I tried the chicken Francese I never ordered anything different. Their garlic rolls are by far the best I’ve ever tried. Service is always super fast, which I needed given I had only a 30 minute lunch break. When I went for the second time the staff knew me by name already and had memorized my order. I can’t say one bad thing about this place. It’s clean, nice seating and conveniently located. I moved but I still travel the 30 minute drive just to eat there. Kudos. I recommend to all. I will say I prefer the lunch dish though because it’s one chicken breast with lots of pasta, whereas the dinner is 2 chicken breasts with less pasta. I’m a pasta lover. I also plan to request that they cook it with capers next time too because capers are always a bonus to that dish. So point is: GO GO GO GO GO eat there and let me know how much you loved it!

The service was great, food was wonderful and cooked perfectly. I had a Sangria that was delicious.

Stopped in my my mother on the way to spend the week with my cousin. We ordered a pizza to go, and 2 glasses of their house Amaya wine. The owner Alex overheard, and came over to pour samples. It was excellent. He also brought samples of his garlic slices and meatball ricotta. They were awesome! We heated the pizza up later and it was phenomenal. My only regret is we didn’t make it back for dinner. Vacation weeks go to quickly…

This is an excellent place for churrasco at lunch. The service is fast and the food is excellent. Thumbs up to Sandra… excellent service!

Amazing is such a lame word for this place. Incredible food, such friendly and attentive service! I have so many pics and I’m not sure how to upload them! I went 3 times in two days to this place !!! Haha! Mr. Alex, was so kind to us and recognized us from the first night! Sandra was our first server, she was amazing and did a great job even though she normally works at the other location, she told us. This place is awesome! Alex and his crew do a terrific job of providing some of the best food in South Florida. I eat here often and have never had a meal that wasn’t great! From apps to desserts they know what their doing. The service is excellent and the is even better. You can’t miss with this place

We gave this place a few tries because we live close but every time we went they screwed up the orders BIG time. One time they brought me the wrong meal completely. Another time we went it was DEAD and the food took over an hour after sitting. The people working there were too busy watching soccer to care… Skip this place and go to a real Italian eatery. Food isn’t that great anyway.

Great little place. Food is quite good. Had the Caprese salad, mini meatballs and eggplant Parmesan. All done very well, not too salty or sweet. Will definitely be back!

Family Favorite. The food is awesome. Be sure to meet Alex and Jackson Amaya. Very personable and provide great service. The breaded chicken and pasta A la vodka is really awesome. The restaurant is clean and warm.

This is the best pizza in the Deerfield/​Pompano/​Lighthouse Point area, no question. We probably get a large pizza as takeout once a week and Tamarindo is always fast, consistent, hot, delicious, and affordable.
Not only is their pizza awesome, but they have some really tasty entrée options if you want to get something more substantial to take home or eat in. We’ve tried their carne asada, which is pretty much a churrasco steak and extremely tender and flavorful, and their house-​made chimichurri, which is extremely good. They have some delectable house wines from a private label winery and they’re more than willing to let you sample some for free. I distinctly recall their prosecco and one of the Pinot noir blends being great.
Some of the management staff is awesome and will treat you like family when you come in, even just to pick up food. We wouldn’t order pizza anywhere else, and we definitely love this place overall! Highly recommended to check it out as the food is excellent despite how it gets crowded out by neighboring Anuttara Yoga visitors. Check it out!

Had read the reviews and decided to have lunch with my wife.
We loved everything. The garlic rolls were off the chain, right up there with the best I ever had. For lunch we had the skirt steak and a Margherita pizza.
Looking forward to returning soon.

There really ought to be a 0 or negative stars. Ordered lunch for my office staff…
1) as a pizza place, their ovens were not working. They were able to make an entire pie in a regular conventional oven, but were unable to heat up a slice.
2) Do not use their online menu, as it is outdated and they do not offer ¾ of what the menu states.
3) Missing items from the order is reprehensible.
4) The items described, that they actually do have, are not what they are described. For instance, the The Tamarindo Chef Salad with Chicken has NO CHICKEN!!! The lettuce was not crisp.
5) Carne Asada was like rubber, fatty and undercooked.
6) The Garlic Rolls were without garlic and tasted as if they were defrosted and put in a microwave.
7) The staff stated that they have 4 locations and the owner is trying to fix the website and menu problems… but this has been ongoing.
On a positive side, they did not screw up the coca-​cola in the cans.
To say my office was disappointed is an understatement. Stay away from this place unless you enjoy wrongly made, crappy food.

I ordered from here a couple of times and had mixed reviews but the last time was the last straw.
1. The first time I ordered I thought the pizza was good, not great but good for Florida.
2. The second time I ordered we tried the chicken parmigiana heroes. They weren’t heroes but baked in a calzone type she’ll. not bad until I found the 2 foot long hair that I was chewing on. It was like the hair that wouldn’t end as I pulled it out of my mouth and proceeded to throw the food out. I might add that I ordered a 2 liter coke but they didn’t have any left so they decided to give me two cans of soda instead at the 2 liter price, thanks for the screwing. I called and spoke to Juan Carlos. He apologized and wanted to send me new heroes but at that point I was somewhat nauseated. He told me next time I ordered ask for him and he will send me these chicken thing s at no charge. He was good to his word and I ordered them and it was no charge.
3. I went back to pizza after the harrowing chicken experience and once again was thoroughly disappointed again. I order a large pie with sausage and a 2 liter soda. When I received the pizza if fit in the box nice and there was about 2 inches of clearance on all sides. I pay for a large pie and they put this undersized pizza in the box. Paid for a large, got the large box, small pizza in it. This was the last straw for me.
El Tamarindo should change their name to El Terrible.

Place was amazing! Their comlimentary garlic bread was amazing! I had the churrasco steak with chimmichurri… so good. Small… quaint but very classy. Didn’t go wrong going here at all.

Visited El Tamarindo Pizza in Deerfield Beach for the first time yesterday and I loved it! The food was delicious. I ordered the chicken francese, white rice, red beans and tostones. I literally ate the whole thing lol! The service is amazing, Oriana, thank you for being so sweet and attentive. I will definitely be returning!

Got to say being from NJ (and working in NYC) you can get very spoiled with the many excellent places to choose from.
I was pleasantly surprised by how well the pizza tastes! After trying a few places in the area this is the best one. We ordered that evenings to go special, great value. Got a regular cheese pizza, good amount of cheese and sauce ratio. Crust was medium to thin had a good crispy outer edge.
The service is polite quick and friendly. I noticed that they were fairly busy considering it was a Tuesday night. The dinning area is warm and inviting and has a few TV’s playing sports/​news.
