I’m traveling on Amtrak train #97, date 8/​27, car #9712, room #1. Our train has been Delayed due to unforeseen circumstances by about 2 to 3 hrs which in of itself is not issue. The issue is that breakfast was served at 6:30AM and it’s now 1:30PM and there’s no lunch and to add insult to injury I doubt if there will be dinner before we arrive in Fort Lauderdale.
A decision was made by I don’t know who that they’d serve lunch later and it’s now 7hrs since breakfast and no sign of lunch.
A perfectly pleasant trip has now become a very Unpleasant one due to a decision by someone who is not very customer smart.

Very enjoyable Amtrak station. Staff is very helpful. The lobby is clean and the seating is ample and comfortable.
