If I could give zero stars that’s what this place would get my grandma had taken her car into this place because I told her she needed brakes and rotors they told her all she needed was pads which was very incorrect they charged her a fortune and didn’t fix the problem I took the car to a family friends shop and he said he doesn’t know how they could let the thing drive on the road the rotors were rotted through and through and one of the slides on the back rotor was frozen he said she would of went right through those brakes in a heart beat. I then go back there to get her money refunded for the pads they did I talk to Matt and he said we don’t like to sell things that the car doesn’t need well obviously they don’t know what they are doing if they couldn’t see the rotors were rotting off the car! Ridiculous people I would never recommend this place to anyone! Stay away!!!

OK, I brought in a 2003 VW Beatle to the STS location in Deer Park (located on Long Island Ave) for an inspection.
I really wasn’t sure what the car needed as I recently picked it up.
When I entered the location, I was greeted by Matt at the front desk, I explained the situation and requested the car be inspected.
In no time, the car was placed on a «lift» and Chris one the mechanics went to work.
To tell the truth, I was a bit skeptical, we all know how this can go; I braced myself for a hard
sell, expecting to be told the car needed everything from tires to new seats.
I am happy to report, both Matt and Chris were fair and honest.
They explained what the car needed and what could wait. So after an oil change, new front brakes and rotors off I drove.
My experience was pleasant, I was in and out quickly and the price was basically what I expected.
All in all, I will definitely return to this location.

Went to Mavis first and what a rip off. I cant believe STS is owned bt Mavis. The 2 stores are ran totally different. Mavis was almost 200.00 more just for the tires not including the wheel alignment. The Staff at STS is amazing. If your looking for tires dont go to Mavis on Commack Rd in Deer Park just drive right aroung the corner to Long Island Ave and go to STS!!! I will definetly be going back there for all my car needs.
