Every time I go here the crawfish are small, difficult to peel and haven’t got much flavor.

Great place for lunch! Extremely fast service, friendly staff! Ordered lunch special crawfish basket. No problem substituting salad instead of fries. Crawfish tasted fresh not frozen. Cocktail sauce had the right amount of spicy, not too hot. Food was delivered quickly and was piping hot! Will return here again.

First time there. I took the family for lunch on Sunday because one daughter and I were craving for crawfish. When we arrive it was a nice mom and pop atmosphere and we were seated promptly. We ordered, spicy crawfish with corn and potatoes, chicken fried steak, and chicken fried chicken. Our waiter was attentive and courteous. The portions on the chicken fried steak /chicken was ginormous by my standards. My wife and one daughter stated their food was good and took the leftovers home. Me and my other daughter really enjoyed the spicy crawfish. It was really good large crawfish served with optional butter and dry spice on the side. Best I ever had. The only negative from my experience was the men’s restroom. To the owner, «Geshhhh upgrade your restrooms!!! Your investment in your restrooms/restaurant will payoff by your increased business.» But, don’t let this from discouraging you from their incredible crawfish.

Yum! Pleasantly surprised to find this gem in DP. Second best crawfish étouffée I’ve had, and I’m picky about my étouffée. Great fried crawfish. My almost year old daughter ate a lot of her fried catfish and mashed potatoes. Hubs loved the boiled crawfish. I don’t usually care for boiled crawfish but this had amazing spices and I would actually consider ordering it. You can also get mushrooms which soak up all that boiling liquid and spices! We can’t wait to come back!

My husband and i ate here yesterday. It was our first and last time eating here. First my husband ordered the shrimp poboy and the shrimp looked and taste like frozen popcorn shrimp. I ordered the fried catfish and shrimp, and it tasted like it had no seasoning. My husband is born and raised in NO and I lived in NO for 8 years this food doesn’t even come close. I forgot to mention the service was crappy.

Great place for Louisiana style boiled crawfish, reasonable price on seafood, and their customer service was spot on. The only thing I just don’t understand was to why their menu reads oyster as a fried or grilled option. I placed an order of grilled oysters with vegetables instead of fries. When the waitress brought it to the table, I told her it was a mistake because I wanted my oysters grilled. She came back and told me the cook said it couldn’t be cook that way because the oysters would be mushy. Okay. Yeah, I’ve had grilled oysters at a lot of seafood restaurants, fancy and causal. Never seemed to be a problem there. Why put it on the menu when you can’t prepare it! The fried oysters were well seasoned but they were too greasy. The zucchini and broccoli were sautéed with what it seemed to be a pound of butter. However, my son’s fried jumbo shrimp were perfectly fried but his fries were greasy and soggy to the touch. Overall, I highly recommend the Louisiana style boiled crawfish. I just wish they were a little bit bigger in size.

These are the BEST crawfish out there. They beat Floyd’s and all the places in Houston & Crosby. I’ve tried them all over and they stand out above all the rest without comparison. I brought my son-in-law who is from Louisiana who says they are definitely authentic and he would be back!

Really good shrimp and crawfish. Always a wait. Service is not great. Old place. Kind of weird furnishing. But good food. Also good Boudain balls

Awesome, delicious authentic Cajun coon ass food period! Crawfish never disappoint, gumbo, alligator, boudain is all on point. Fried shrimp, fish and oysters fried in good olé corn meal, never battered or frozen… If you are as tired as I am of eating Cajun coon ass imitations, like Razzoo’s or other Cajun imitation horse shit that pawns itself off as Cajun, then go as fast as your airboat will take you to Guidry’s Cruisin Cajun Crawfish shea! Cajun food imitation establishments are a real drag mannn! These places are a disappointment, their idea of «Cajun» is they over spiced it with red pepper or garnished it with green onions, and I have had so called overpriced«Cajun» restaurant’s serve pre-cooked/frozen crawfish that they re-boil that make you want whoop somebody’s ass! If you want to have the best, authentic Louisiana Cajun crawfish and other Lagniappe that all dem coonass eat down near Boute or Bayou Gauche but available in the Houston area, then getcha ass to Guidry’s in Deer Park TX on Center street!!! Cold beer too! :0

Absolutely the best crawfish in Houston. The XXX is perfectly spicy, crawfish are so well purged, and never over cooked. My favorite Cajun restaurant, would live here if I could.

Had a fantastic lunch here with my wife yesterday. The service was fantastic. We were allowed to sit outside. They have very large tables that they try and hold for large parties and family, but they made an exception for my wife and me. I love spicy and my wife cannot take the heat. To start out I ordered a pound of Spicy 1X crawfish, and a pound of mild crawfish. I also ordered two corn, some sausage, and a potato. They put all the extras in the mild crawfish. I had forgotten to specify this, but thought it was very considerate. I can always add spice but once food touches that hot stuff my wife can’t eat it. I also liked that they have a nice beer selection. We both got Dos Equis and they dressed it up for my wife. On a final note, the Boudin balls were beyond delicious. I could go there for lunch and just order 8 and call it a day. On a side note, the Spicy 1X crawfish comes literally drenched in the sauce. I find it is a perfect level of heat if I just pealed and ate the meat. But at first, the sauce tasted so good I just kept licking a ton off my fingers. About 10 crawfish in, I realized that that was a bad idea, it took about two beers before I could continue eating.

Good crawfish, service was average. The only eyesore was the restroom. It definitely needs to be updated. There is 1 toilet for men, and 1 for women, there are adults here drinking alcohol and eating spicy ass crawfish. So I would imagine there are times when this is a definite problem.

Best crawfish near Houston area I’ve ever eaten. I’ve tried several but none ever lived up to the hype. Waiting to sit down can be long especially weekend nights but the service is ok place is usually really loud but crawfish and food are excellent.

Guidry’s crawfish is the best this side of the Louisiana border. They sure do have the ability to make really great food with a welcoming atmosphere. The boudain balls and pistolettes are very good starters. A must try is their stuff tilipala or stuffed catfish, and if you are a lover of oysters, try their Guidry’s smoked oysters — you will get a craving for them on a monthly basis. If you are looking for great cajun food at a reasonable price, go the Guidry’s in Deer Park.

Maybe it was the $ 8.99 lunch special or maybe I was in Deer Park, TX but I didn’t like the food that much. Had the crawfish étouffée it was okay

The food is delicious! Fun, casual atmosphere… Great place to check out and spend a fun evening with friends. Highly recommend the crawfish étouffée and the strawberry margaritas– both are Amazing :). I was pretty sad they didn’t have any fresh crawfish though… I’ll have to come back when they’re in season.

Cajun restaurants are defined by a number of different dishes but a good barometer is always Boudin(if they don’t have the item on their menu then you’re not in a Cajun restaurant) and of course Gumbo both of which I promptly ordered here. The boudin was superb, cooked perfectly, well seasoned with plenty of meat. I asked the waitress if they made their own she said no however wherever they acquired from, whatever gas station around Opelousas, Louisiana that they buy it from it is some of the best Boudin I have ever had. It is well worth the trip to this restaurant just for that alone. Now onto the gumbo. The roux of the gumbo was quite dark and very well done. It was spicy yet not overpowering. However, the reason I have given the restaurant for rather than five stars is that there was a paucity of seafood in the seafood gumbo. I must however say that the restaurant was well attended by Cajuns, which is always a great sign and the fried food which was being served all around me look absolutely wonderful. So I will be returning to judge for myself whether there is more to this restaurant that I have experience so far. I look forward to returning.
