Since meeting my husband’s family, it seems like Deer Park ravioli is involved with most major holidays. Delicious fresh pasta and is a local gem.

The fresh stuffed shells here are outstanding, and the variety of gourmet ravioli (used to supply a vast amount of our local restaurants) is enough to make your head spin! The staff here is friendly, and the prices are for fresh pasta is very, very reasonable at $ 4 a pound. They have whole wheat fresh pasta, too, as well as housemade mozzarella cheese!
But seriously, the variety of ravioli is amazing. Sun-dried tomato dough! Goat cheese filling! Mushroom! Pesto dough! Butternut squash! Pumpkin! Even apple and other incredible, inventive combinations. It’s easy to go crazy here, wanting to sample everything. It’s only about $ 10 a pack, and they offer a volume discount. Love this place!

Deer Park Ravioli makes the best ravioli on Long Island. In fact, they supply most restaurants with ravioli on LI. They’ve got a great assortment of fresh pastas, sauces and homemade mozzarella and ricotta cheese. The store is unchanged as when it first opened (I think almost 100 years ago!)
Many a Sunday dinner at my aunt’s house in Deer Park consisted of grandma’s recipe for homemade sauce and these Rav’s. YUM!
