Very good for the culinary deadzone that is Deer Park. The lamb and the gyro’s are good. Saffron rice is good. Hummus is good but not vegan. Only place in deer park you can eat vegan/vegetarian.

This place is awesome! They start you off with warm bread! The restaurant is a family owned business and they take care of their customers. I would highly recommend.

I have eaten here more times than I can count! Always great and the owner & family are very kind people. Everything is homemade so sometimes I noticed little variances in times like the lentil soup, but that is to be expected. Same as home cooking. I have tried many items on the menu, but I never leave without a large hummus! I could drink it! Lol Also…I work way across town in southwest Houston which has countless Mediterranean places. I have yet to try anything that compares to Bibis! Healthy food that tastes great!

My father picked up a call-in order for my mom and I. The styrofoam container was melted into the soup. I called BiBis and told the OWNER that my father would be bringing the food back and he actually argued that the container was fine. There was an OBVIOUS problem with the container which I have posted pictures of. I simply told him that melted plastic and styrofoam will release carcinogens into food and he owes us a refund. Unfortunately the owner kept arguing and actually hung up on me. I have never cared for this unauthentic place. The one time I decide to give it another shot, I am not only disappointed but insulted on top of the fact. The place is dirty and the service is horrible. Do not give your money to the backwards people who own this hole. Those cheap styrofoam containers are mean’t for serving cold items, not boiling hot soup! That’s how moronic and cheap the ownership is here. Needless to say when we brought the evidence in he issued the refund but couldn’t even apologize. Pathetic.

Bibi’s is convenient cause its a hop and skip away from where I work. The Gyro meat is so well marinated and seasoned. The Baklava is so good, you get the option of cashew or pistachio… who wants to choose? i always get like three of each. I have had better hummus but for some reason could never get enough of their hummus. Its pretty small and during lunch time gets filled by all the nearby plant workers but if you get there by 11:00 you may find a seat next to the window and you get to look over and see everyones butts while they wait in line next to you… if you dont mind that. then hey… Bibis is awesome

I was not expecting much, a Greek place in deer park? I am happy to say my lentil soup was so full of flavor! My feta platter was fresh and delicious. I would have given four stars except there were no Greek olives??? I love the olives! Seriously, very good food. Says the GF/vegetarian

It’s great to have a mediterranean restaurant so close to home. They have an extensive menu, so far I’ve only tried the chicken gyro once with fries and the other with rice both have been good. The hummus is one of the best I’ve had. Great place i will be coming here often.

I could eat here every day. The grilled vegetables and seafood are top notch. The baklava gooey and delicious. Cakeballs — ohhhhhh they are to die for. Big, yummy and no calories I’m sure.

I LOVE Persian food. BUT I don’t love having to drive way across town for 45 minutes when I am craving PERSIAN food. This is less of a review and more of a clarification. Depending on the restaurant, saying that a place is a «MEDITERRANEANFOOD» restaurant is the equivalent to saying«LATINAMERICANFOOD» restaurant when you’ve got Mexican, Cuban, Peruvian, Salvadorean or Argentina cuisines. So as with people, it goes the same for certain restaurants, sometimes it’s not very accurate and is very generalizing when using such a broad label. With that said it’s only fair to really look closely at the type of food a restaurant is offering. Sometimes you get offerings that aren’t necessarily native to the main cuisine. For example, pizza is served on some Chinese buffets but it’s probably not the best way to judge them and say something like: «Ew, their pizza sucks here, go to CiCis!» and in Mexican Taquerias you get burgers and though it’s fair for you to not like it in my opinion it’s not completely fair to say«Hey, this burger is the WORST, go to Fudruckers instead!»… of course, and of course. I think you get my point. These are things that are offered to appeal to a wider variety of patrons even though it might not be the specialty of the cuisine represented by a restaurant. Bibi’s House of Kabob(NOT Bibi’s Greek/Mediterranean only) is a great place to get your Persian Grilled Meats and Rice! So since this wasn’t meant to be an full-blown review I will keep it short and simple. The meats are seasoned and grilled just right, the basmati rice is excellent and sprinkling the sumac on it all just helps me kill my Persian food craving right here on this side of town! I would’ve given them 4.5 stars if I could as is, but in MY review the would get 5 stars IF they offered dill rice, sabzi khordan(fresh herbs that go great with the persian menu items), AND Persian Taftoon flatbread instead of(greek/mediterranean) pita bread. So if you’re a Persian food fan or like kabobs, then give Bibis a try. And if you want Greek or other Mediterranean food, please, STILL give Bibis a try, especially if you don’t want to drive out to Westheimer and Dairy Ashford.

Overpriced on food. The quality is not there and the kabobs are not seasoned as good as they should. Not worth the price and quantity as well…

Didnt like the food or the service very much. I ordered a chicken shawarma, and what I got was a very bland, flavorless chicken sandwich with no pickles, tahini or taboulah. I had to ask for pickles to put on it. Was greatly disappointed and wont be coming back to this place.

Walked I to this joint and first thing I noticed was, dirty floors, carpets, and chairs. Decorations do not show that it is a greek place, chairs look like they were taken from a Chinese restaurant, because of the Dragon carvings on them. You pay up front at the counter where I presume the owner is sitting. The drink is not included with the meal, so it came out to a little over 11 bucks for a gyro plate. Waitress brings the plate and to my surprise there was no tzatziki sauce to be seen. Also they gave me 2 dry triangular slices of pita bread, a pile of iceberg lettuce with some brown house dressing, a half a slice of an onion grilled whole, and half of a tomato grilled whole as well(both were burned). In conclusion the plate was a mess. Now to the taste: –dressing too overpowering with vinegar, but probably cheap dressing from the bottle –gyro meat tasted oily without any flavor –tomatoes and onions were plain –pita bread, dry Nothing was pretty much seasoned. And of course again, no tzatziki sauce As for the service: –waitress dropped off my drink then my food and that’s it. –walked passed by me without refilling drink nor to remove my finished plate –as I walked out, no word of thank you or see you again. Would I come back or recommend someone? –definitely not. I don’t know how people left good reviews for this place.

The environment is quaint, and definitely makes this a «hole in the wall». The service was inadequate at best, slow to get drink orders and get food orders(the restaurant is not packed, there are 3 tables with people). Ordered pita and hummus for the appetizer it came with one pita and a boat full of hummus. The pita was«OK» but not enough for sharing. The number 40, chicken was flavorful and more than you can eat in one sitting. My wife ordered the 35 beef kabobs and it was also delicious, but in a smaller portion. All in all I’d say eat here but do yourself a favor and get takeout.

Small family owned mediterranean restaurant in the heart of Deer Park. Counter style ordering but food and drinks are delivered to your table. I didn’t adventure too much with the menu; had the chicken kabob and couscous salad/appetizer. Both were good. Service was quick and friendly. Definitely a nice change compared to the other places in the area. Yup, I’m a fan.

I am really impressed that this place could be so horrible, and disappointing when I already had such low expectations. I’m sad that this restaurant sucks so bad because a BYOB Mediterranean restaurant that’s this close has the potential to have me and BF’s business at least once a week. However, neither of us will return to Bibi’s ever again. To summarize the following review: 1. The food was terrible, and sloppily prepared. 2. The service was apathetic and slow. 3. The portions are small and over-priced. 4. There’s a Taco Bell next door that will offer you a much better dining experience. The first time I came here was almost 2 years ago. I had a really negative experience then(It was really over priced. I recall ordering tabouleh and it had raw crunchy burghul in it. I asked them if I could sub it out for a different side or return it and they told me NO. They said it will be ready to eat in an hour or two. WTH? I’m hungry now. Alright, well I’ll be ready to try your restaurant again in a year or two.) Antonio’s was totally packed last night and I was too hungry to wait for a table so we decided to give Bibi’s another shot. It was, not surprisingly, very slow on a Friday night. We were one of five tables dining and still managed to have terrible service the entire time. When we ordered our drinks I ordered some grape dolmeh and kibbeh to start with because, as I told her, «we are very hungry» and waited. Our sweet waitress brought drinks out immediately but rushed away before we could order our entrees. She then went to the kitchen area where the prepared food comes out and played with her hair for several minutes She then visited other tables, still not coming to take our order, and then went to run food. We were finally able to order the Lamb Kabob Platter and a lentil soup. I figured with both of the apps coming we would be able to share the big plate and a soup and it would be plenty of food. She left the menus on the table after we ordered. Our kibbeh came out first. That’s singular, one kibbeh ball. Instead of tasting of lamb and allspice, this was more like ground beef with curry powder. Not altogether awful tasting, but the ground meat was pink in the center which was a huge turnoff for me. Good thing it was such a tiny portion. The«dolmeh» came out ridiculously hot. We had to wait several minutes before we could even touch them. The oil on the plate was scorched around the edges and the grape leaves were rippled and cracked on top. They took so long to come out because they were microwaving the life out of them. HORRIBLE. I doubt these were even okay freshly made, but left-over and nuked was just gross. There were crunchy, under-cooked lentils inside and the entire thing crumbled at the slightest touch. The flavor was unpleasantly sweet. We were both disappointed as these are usually our favorites at Mediterranean restaurants. Our dirty plates and empty water glasses sat on the table for the next 10 – 15 minutes or so while we waited for my soup. Our entrée came out. The lamb kabob was the only thing that tasted good in the entire meal, it had a nice citrusy flavor to it and the meat was tender. Maybe they should try preparing the rest of their food fresh to order too? Just a thought. There was 2 small triangles of pita, Eight 1-inch cubes of lamb, and maybe 1.5 cups of rice on the plate. No sauce for the meat. This platter was $ 14 and we were still really hungry. We finished the entrée and went up to cancel my soup and pay. I saw them scraping a steaming, fresh-out-of-the-microwave, thick, greenish-brown porridge into a bowl behind the counter. No thanks. When I told her I wanted to cancel the soup and check out she just said OK. When she was fixing the check she asked if everything was good to which I replied«No, not really.» She asked what was wrong, I told her and she didn’t respond. No, «I’m sorry». No «let me talk to somebody about that». No «Is there anything I can do to fix it?». She was taking her apron off, so I guess break-time was more crucial. The gentleman that finished checking us out and asked the same thing and also said and did nothing when BF replied negatively. It was almost like we were just confirming what they already knew. Why ask if you’re not going to do anything about it? We finished paying and went next door to Taco Bell because we were still really hungry. We would have had a better time, and a more romantic Friday date night if we had just gone there first.

Big ol peppers onions and lite fluffy rice and juicy gyros, it became too addicting. I simply had to stop. plus I hate all the piggy pd lining the whole of center st. stopping anything moving. I hate pasadena period, CrapaStinkadena. Yah, its a GRRREAT lil family run operation, very personable and prompt and awesome fries and Greek salads. I really love the Dad, hes just the coolest. Bibi’s is a nice little gem in Deer Park with solid food that never disappoints. I’ve gone for lunch a few times with coworkers and have always found the service to be prompt and attentive, even during busy hours. I typically go with the gyro salad, which has some of the creamiest feta I’ve had in a while. The dressing has just the right amount of tangy bite and the gyro meat is always flavorful. It does tend to get a bit crowded during lunch, so try and make it there before the rush starts at noon.
