Dr. Hondo worked on veins in my hands. The treatment requires skill. She certainly is a true professional and took the time to explain the process. The procedures varies based on the type of veins. After about five visits and three treatments the results are absolutely amazing! I will go back and do my legs next.

This place is simply great. I’ll start with the small conveniences: the location is good and the parking is free. Now, onto the medical care: I saw Dr. Hondo about various spider and other veins in different parts of my body, and she really impressed me with her skill and professionalism. Certain veins could not be safely treated, or could be treated but with unsatisfactory aesthetic results, and she always erred on the side of wise caution before going ahead with anything. The results are beautiful. She is a very personable and knowledgeable clinician, answering all my questions generously and never, ever proposing to go ahead with a treatment unless there was at least a reasonable expectation of improvement. There are so many MDs who do not maintain such a high standard of ethics; she really takes «First, do no harm» seriously, and this is such a breath of fresh air when it comes to aesthetic medicine, which is crawling with doctors who feel no qualms about being paid to make people look worse. That is definitely not something to fear at The Vein & Aesthetic Center of Boston. Great results, very principled, nice staff — I would recommend this place to anyone with problematic veins. This is not the only place I’ve been to for vein treatment, but it is definitely the best!
