I love the consistency of Five Guys Burgers! The best burgers & fries I’ve had on the east coast bar none!

If you don’t mind hair in your food, come here. This can happen anywhere occasionally. The male workers with longer hair did not have it tied back and were not wearing hair nets which significantly increased the likelihood of a surprise in your purchase. If I looked hard enough, I could not help but feel that there was probably a strand or two in everything. Spending over $ 20 and being offered a $ 2 refund or a replacement of the item just didn’t cut it. Not to mention, the burgers were also overcooked with the wrong toppings. Although Five Guys has been great in other locations and the food is usually delicious, I would not recommend this location and will stay far away from it in the future.

Great burger and fries considering their price. Not the best in the world, but decently good and again for the price can’t ask for more. Only downside is the cheese, tasted like crappy kraft cheese from the supermarket. Next time I’m getting w/o the cheese. Fries are good too. Service is ok, someone left a review complaining about the shouting, it’s true they shout but didn’t bother me and I don’t think bothered any other customer there. Recommended.

I love the burgers here. And they always give plenty of fries. They also have new milkshakes that come in different flavors.

After the opening of ShakeShack, I decided to try the new milkshakes of Five Guys. What I can honestly say is that Five Guys gives a great selection of shake choices, and allows more creativity in them(I’m thinking next time«All of them» shake, because mix-ins=free). Their burger formula is successful due to the more customizability of the burgers, where ShakeShack has that menu of specific ones. However, ShakeShack is still creative with their special burgers. Their service is very good because the cashiers are friendly, and once more, the choces are amazing. I can’t help but feel the shakes were a way to keep customers and regulars from abandoning them, and that’s OK. The fries situation remains unchanged to this day, «fill’er up» is still their policy. I’m capable of filling up quite a bit, but I still think Five Guys is called that because the smallest fries order could satisfy that many people. I also still enjoy the creativity of soft drinks here. I had Zero-Calorie lemon Coke, and lime. I also like the easy take home ketchup cups. The place also feels a little cramped, hence their universal brown bag method. I think this can be both easier on the customer and cashier because it does not make either remember the«here-or-to-go» q-and-a, and makes it easier for the cooks to do their job. It is however, limiting for those preferring to eat there. After going to ShakeShack, I do admit the yelling out order numbers is more tedious than the buzzer, but keeps prices lower than they could be. I enjoy both places, but Five Guys is easier«grab-and-go» that now has shakes. Thank you Five Guys, for the better variety of burgers and beverages, but you could leave room for the burger to be visible in the bag with fries.

Not a very nice experience when they’re shouting barbarically to us. Not coming back due to their outrageous anger management problems. Also, where do I start on cleanliness?

Love the burgers and fries here. Obviously it’s not a healthy option and wouldn’t eat here more than once every 4 – 5 weeks but if you have a craving for a burger and fries this is a great option.

I used to love this locations burgers. As of late, I feel they aren’t that good. The last time I got a burger from this location, is was burnt beyond anything and barely edible. The staff are normally friendly, and the location is clean, with a big parking lot. But the food is just lax as of late. Other than that, good prices, good portions and great staff.

We never eat fast food(McDonald’s/BK/Wendy’s) however we love 5 Guys. Compared to local sit down restaurants like 3-squares that charge $ 12 — $ 14 for a single burger, 5 Guys is truly a bargain for half the price. Besides the awesome Coke machine that gives you the ability to combine 100’s of flavors, the potato farm is posted as is the location the beef was raised. Perhaps some may consider 5 Guys fast food, which it is, super fast — but when the purveyors are posted, it is truly a big step above the rest. Add free peanuts and a casual atmosphere and you have a hit.

I have to admit the food here is good. However it is ridiculously overpriced. I got 2 cheeseburgers and a soda and paid almost 17 dollars. The burgers aren’t even that big. They just give you a ton of fries to make it look like they are generous

Possibly my favorite burger ever. Tastes like a combination of a fast food burger and a high quality restaurant burger. Do yourself a favor and try it.

So if I’m comparing this to their level of burger(in n out, shake shack, burgerfi, etc.) then it’s damn good. If I’m comparing it to a gourmet burger(bc it was $ 7) then no I’d rather pay a couple bucks more and go for a realllyyyyy divine burger(cough OSullivans) Anywho the staff mega friendly, the lady at the counter was on the phone placing a take out order and the grill man asked me what I wanted to throw it on there and get me started I ordered a cheeseburger«all the way» and man I wish my friends warned me a regular here is 2 patties, honestly great but I was not that hungry. I thought the little menu was for children. And then I ordered a little fries but didn’t realize til my order came they gave me(and charged me for) a large. Aside from the large expense for fast food it definitely sky rocketed to the top of my «fast food» burger list I will definitely return when I’m in the area but I’ll order little everything for little me :)

Excellent friendly service. Tap water not filtered like Shake Shack, tasted like a pool. Peanuts everywhere so parents beware. The burgers were respectable but overly messy. Like 10 napkin messy. Annoyingly so. Flavor was plain compared to Shake Shack or In N Out’s secret sauces. Highlight was most definitely the fries. Excellent and very fresh. Overall a 2 but fries pushed it to a 3.

So, yeah, I will admit that as a vegetarian I am not exactly anywhere near Five Guys’ target demographic. And yes, I will also admit that years ago back before I gave up meat and before this chain started popping up everywhere, I tried one of their burgers in Georgetown and I remember liking it well enough. But I still can’t help but be bothered by the fact that they don’t offer a veggie burger. Even McDonald’s does, so why is it so hard for them here, especially for a franchise first started in the 90s? Instead, they offer a burger without the burger — you can have toppings from their list, sandwiched in between burger buns. So, if you like eating lettuce, tomato and a slice of American cheese, this might just be the place for you. Last time I tried their grilled cheese, which is basically the same idea, except grilled. I opted for it with mushrooms and onions. It could have been good if they actually used a good cheese instead of just the radioactive yellow stuff they use for their burgers, but I guess that’s just asking too much. Also, they seemed to try to slice it into two, but didn’t make it much past the top bun, which just made the whole affair that much messier. As for the fries, the pro is that they give you a ton. We took the medium size for four people and we ended up with a whole lot of fries. On the other hand, as much as they tout the fact that they use peanut oil to fry them and ship fresh potatoes from Idaho, the fries are just not that good. They’re soggy and greasy and you end up leaving in need of a good hand washing. I think I had one fry out of that giant batch that actually tasted almost crispy but the rest were just sad and limp. I get it Five Guys, your burgers are good. But you really need to step up your game when it comes to everything else.

Burgers are pretty good! Only I don’t like is the fact that the fries are cooked in peanut oil. The difference in taste is very noticeable and I’m not too fond of peanut oil. But I love their fountain drink stations. There’s like 1000 flavors! The meat is juicy and cooked well so if you’re looking for a good burger from a chain restaurant, this place is the way to go! Prices are higher than the others but it’s for good reason. Very wishful thinking but I just wish they had other options for cheese, like real cheeses, not that processed Kraft slice cheese BS.

A breath of fresh air in this chain-infested corner of Dedham! The hamburgers are griddled before your very eyes and served up fresh with the toppings of your choice. Plus this little mom’n’pop organization allows you to order the ‘Regular’(two patties) or a ‘Junior’ version(one patty) depending on how hungry you might be. They proudly display the town where that day’s potatoes came from so you get a sense of history and context with your French fries– I basically felt like I was eating at a Farmer’s Market! Two do-it-yourself Coke machines allow you to come up with outrageous drink choices like Orange Cream Diet Coke. As with my Second Amendment Rights – I don’t want to own a Glock any more than I want to drink Raspberry Lime Root Beer but it’s always nice to have the option. Really can’t say enough good things about this lunch mecca. Minus 1 star for a small-ish dining area and minus another for the eventual scientific finding that links 5 Guys to triple bybass surgeries the world over.

Had a cheeseburger there topped with grilled onions, tomatoses and lettuce along with some A1 sauce and it was delicious. The paddy was juicy, the bun toasted. The cajun fries weren’t bad either. The menu is extremely simple, 2 types of fries(regular & cajun), 4 types of burgers(burger, cheeseburger, bacon burger & bacon cheeseburger) each come in 2 sizes and fountain drinks(including Coke Zero which I had never seen in a soda fountain!). Prices are fairly cheap and the parking is plentiful. Service is prompt. Me liky!

Recently, on Phantom Gourmet, I was exposed to the Five Guys way of serving french fries — they stick the styrofoam cup of fries into the paper bag, and they top it off more even more fries… sounded good to me! The oily bag is their logo… that didn’t sound so good since greasy seats aren’t my thing. After my morning of shopping, I stopped off at Five Guys Burger and Fries in Dedham just to grab an order of their fries — $ 2.72(after tax) for a small. They served it up to me quick, and I stuck it in a plastic bag I had on hand. Noticing the box of peanuts on the counter, I crushed the shell off one and popped the nut into my mouth. A sign by the door requests that peanuts are eaten on the premises in consideration of allergic folk in the neighborhood — that’s considerate. I filled two take out plastic sauce containers with Heinz ketchup(is there any other kind?) and noticed 1) little lemon juice thingies(ReaLemon)… I wonder what they’re for? and 2) a sign listing the potato of the day(that was neat). Once I got in the car, I quickly took out the napkins(lots!) and ate a few fries. Hot, crispy, but could stand a little more salt. But I love that it is the kind of fry that looks like it was a potato in a past life. :)
