This was really really cool! I went there with my grandmother when u was little, 6 or 7, and we just went back today, 21 years old! The tour guide was really informative and answered all the questions that everyone in the group had. This is such a good day trip to take with family, and a decent history lesson as well.
The pricing was also pretty reasonable, student pricing, AAA discount and senior citizen discounts applicable as well. Extremely informative and enjoyable way to spend the afternoon (:

Very Interesting. Tour guide was not in period clothes, and was very CONTEMPORARY always asking for the time because «she didn’t have her cell phone». Not a typical authentic experience that I would recommend. but the house is interesting none the less

Seriously people… the oldest wooden frame house in America and you can go inside and poke around. Super cool! I only wish they would allow sleepovers as I would love to spend the night and find out if there any ghostly residents :)
