Waffle House #2000

We are from California, and have never been to a Waffle House before. The minute we walked through the door we were greeted by a very FRIENDLY staff. Our server, Candy, walked us through the menu. She made fabulous recommendations, and never stopped making us laugh. We felt right at home with the southern hospitality! This will be a new staple every time I visit Georgia. Thank you Candy! Waffle House… You have an excellent employee!!!

This is my favorite local Waffle house. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is very upbeat each time we’ve eaten there.
The food was delicious. I’ve had many different Waffle House hash browns (scattered, smothered, covered and diced) and some are not that great but these were delicious and each time I go they are consistently better than another nearby Waffle House that I no longer go to even though it’s a lot closer than this one.

Smothered covered diced chunked capped, The waffle is located all over the south however in Atlanta its like a right of passage. The waffle house museum is even located here, well actually its in the city of Avondale Estates in Decatur which is basically the Atlanta area and its ITP and only minutes away from this location.
The food is greasy, its a heart attack on the plate almost but its fantastic. The staff are normally great regardless of the location. Sit at the bar or at a booth, Waffles houses have duke boxes and no TV’s and before the days of cell phones people regulars usually knew everyone at their local place.
The cooks are also fantastic. The waitstaff stand and shout order up and then yell their orders. The keep all the orders in their heads and throw out the best breakfasts in town for a reasonable price.
No frills and no pri-madonna’s here and all for a price that wont break the bank.

Very clean, and a full staff! If youre looking for a cheap quick breakfast this is the place! Food was good and staff was friendly! It was a little loud but hey… It’s Waffle House folks!
