Real Salon

Our family wouldn’t go anywhere else for a haircut! My husband and both our boys come to Real, and we love it. Marty Read cuts our hair, and all the stylists are great. The location is very convenient, and it’s always fun to visit.

I’ve been going to Real Salon for eight years. I’ve cheated three times, only to return (with my tail inbetween my legs) to have either Jim or Ian fix someone else’s bad cut, and my bad judgement. (Damn Groupons.)
I see either Ian or Jim for cut and color, and Mandy for Agave straightening treatments. Although Stephen and Marty have never provided any services to me, I would trust either of them in a heartbeat.
Yes — the address reads Avondale Estates — which I once believed was an hour outside Atlanta. Truthfully, they are on the east side of Decatur on Ponce. It takes me ten minutes from my house in East Lake.
In addition, the staff personalities are nothing I’ve ever experienced. They’re all wonderful people, and ridiculously funny. I often laugh from the time I arrive to the time I leave.
