Minnie Lee’s Hometown Diner

A hidden gem! This is the closest I’ve had to my Grandmothers cooking since she left this earth! If you love grandmothers country cooking or soul food you will be hard pressed to find any better! Outstanding!

Fresh vegetables not canned. Favorite is their corn. Friendly staff. Love their salmon patties that they have on Wednesdays.

This place is starting to feel like home, as it is hard to pass by here without wanting to stop in for a meal! We have eaten here four or five times in the last year or so, since they moved out here.
This location is at the Priceville exit on I-​65. The diner is just a couple blocks west of the interstate, on Alabama hwy 67.
Serving is cafeteria-​style. My wife and I like to get a meat and two vegetables, and an empty plate to split this. This way we are not overstuffed, and can still contemplate dessert.
If you do split a meal, be sure the checkout lady understands this so she doesn’t accidentally charge it as two meals.
The facility here is nothing special, but the food is very good. I give them a three and a half overall.
