It will be my go to if I had to laundry while visiting Decatur again. Clean, quiet, great customer service. Also located across from Walmart and other stores. Only con is it was a little dated, but my close were very clean after the wash

Fairly priced, fast service and very nice employees/management. Very good wash, dry and fold service. Big machines to wash even the biggest loads of neglected laundry. My bedsheets and towels were ready in a few hours, no extra charge. Notes: wash dry and fold service has a $ 20 minimum with clothing varying from $ 1.35−2.00 a pound. Towels and bed sheets are included as «clothing», but bath rugs and comforters are not.

When I first moved into an apartment that didn’t have a washer/dryer, I feared the worst. I thought going to a laundromat would be so inconvenient. I have been to a few laundromats in the past, mostly while traveling. This is by far the best laundromat I have ever used. I’ve been coming here regularly for 6 months now. The owners/operators are very friendly, professional and helpful. They showed me how to use the machines the first time I came in. There is a nice and secluded folding area in the back, perfect for reading/studying. Most importantly, this place is very clean. I can tell the owners are meticulous, and I really appreciate that.

The best fluff and fold place. Hands down. They are quick and professional. I always bring my clothes here when I’ve had a busy week. They are usually ready within a few hours. I’ll gladly pay money for this service. You can also bring your own detergent, etc. Or you can purchase some dryer sheets there.

I’ve been using the Wash and Fold service at Medlock Laundry for over a year and a half now. I Drop off my clothes, come back the next day(even the same day if you go early) and they are washed, folded, and hung up. The staff there is always friendly. I’ve never had any problems and I will continue to use their services! The prices are very comparable for such services that I’ve seen around town. And its certainly worth it to me to be able to drop off my clothes, and only have to worry about putting them away, already folded and hung, when I get home.

This past weekend was I think the only time I have been to a real laundromat! We are waiting to get our new stack unit installed, but in the mean time, I suppose I will be frequenting these joints more often! I had driven by this place a few times, so I gave it a try. Fortunately, there were lots of washer and dryers available, and lots of sizes and price ranges. I mostly used the $ 3.00 front load washers — they also have $ 1.50 top loaders, and $ 4.50 huge front load for comforters and such. The cycles took 30 minutes. Then I moved on to the dryers, where you get something like 7 minutes for a quarter. Some of the machines were acting up a bit, like the door would nudge open and the thing would stop, so I had to stay on hand to monitor that. The dryers took about 45 minutes. Not a bad place… somewhat run down, but functional. The girl working the counter and doing the fluff and fold was helpful. They have a change machine of course, but only takes $ 1 and $ 5 bills. The girl can break bigger bills for you if need be.
