I didn’t know what to think when some friends approached me about trying a class. I went and loved it. Two years later, and I’m still at it.
This facility is wonderful. It’s clean and they provide all of your equipment (weights, mats, tubes, balls). They even have childcare in the morning.
Can’t say enough about this organization. They truly make working out fun again. Although the music is not what I typically listen to, I always find a song I know – and even find myself singing the ones I learn.
The instructors each have their own flare. Some are tougher, some are more fun, and all are very inspiring.
Classes are available from 6:00 am — 7:00 pm. I prefer mornings, but like to mix it up with new instructors in the evenings too.

I love Jazzercise. I admit their name makes you think 80 aerobics but they have changed my mind about that completely. The space is beautiful and clean which is a great bonus. Some instructors are better than others, but the times work perfect for my schedule and it is a great work out. And I hate working out so I like that the music and the people make it fun.

I got in to Jazzercise when I lived in SC and was working as a teacher. It is a great dance workout that keeps your mind engaged and your body challenged! When I moved to Decatur, I couldn’t find a Jazzercise location close by and was thrilled when the Decatur Fitness Center opened up! I joined up to get in shape before I got married and have loved the camaraderie. There are many classes throughout the day and several payment options. Jazzercise is a great way to dance off the pounds, tone up your body, and not get bored working out! It’s a complete workout in one hour including stretching, cardio and weights with elements of yoga, pilates, and many dance styles.
