The kids love coming here every other Friday night for a little weekend fun. And I love it to bc it’s good exercise and gun for me as well. And the the food is good as well lol

I love to take the kids here… They having different nights and times for different skaters… The food is good and the people who work here are very nice and make it fun!!! If you want to have a good time with the family this is somewhere good to come for the weekend!!!

I used to come here a lot (twice a week) and moved back up north it was good to see that some things never change enjoyed the music and the floor is always clean A+ always and next time I come to town I will definitely be back.

Golden Glide is a hot skating rink like any other skating rink I’ve been to. I like coming here because they have adult nights and you have to be 18+ to skate & they play older music. Friday nights are the adult nights. So, after 1130p come on out and have fun.

This place is pretty cool, family skate night on Monday $ 5. Looks just like it did in the movie ATL. Concession stand was closed tho… boooooo. 5 stars for the DJ alone!

I went this past Sunday night for Old School night. The crowd was few but everyone was really showing off their moves and in the middle some of the old school pros were teaching their tricks. A nice spot to hang out. The crowd looked to be 30s+

One of my Homes away from Home! I love the music, the crowd, the exercise! you WILL sweat if you do it right! So much fun, very therapeutic. wear 2 pairs of socks!

It’s a little hard to find, but Golden Glide is one of the most lively, jumpin places to skate in Atlanta. Saturday afternoons are great for beginners and Sunday nights are awesome for Adult Skate (if you can keep up!).
Each time I go here, I meet someone new and most of the regulars are professionals in my book. I have yet to meet a regular that isn’t nice and willing to show you a new trick or give you a tip on how to skate better.

I’ve gotta get back to Golden Glide. Since I moved further away I haven’t been back much but it is very fun. And the best part about it is that it’s one of the most affordable family places you can go to!

It’s like Soul Train on skates. Golden Glide, an old fashioned roller rink with mostly African-​American clientel, is a bit of a hike from Downtown Atlanta, but it’s worth it. People literally dance their way around the rink, spinning, twirling, sliding… it really is a sight to see.
I consider myself a competent skater, having grown up playing roller and ice hockey, but I still felt like I was slowing down the much more accomplished regulars. One guy was doing figure eights around orange cones, which he would occasionally juggle. Another pair were practicing for the roller skating equivalent of the Olympic figuring skating pairs competition.

I had a lot of fun when I went on Friday night (adult skate). I didn’t do much skating because the floor was crazy slippery and more people were watching the floor than on it but just the watching was entertaining.

Great place for skating. Friendly atmosphere. Low cover ($ 5). Good 80s and 90s music mixed in with more contemporary music. Plenty of people doing high skill skating rink tricks alongside people struggling to stay upright. They offer skating lessons between 7 and 8 pm on Sundays.
