RENTER BEWARE
I had all my belongings stored here for 6+ months (November-​August). I rented a climate controlled unit and somehow moisture got in. Shortly after moving my belongings into my new apartment I started to notice random items had light mold on them (ex: shoes and wood furniture). Thinking nothing of it I threw out some shoes (I can afford to downsize) and wiped down the furniture. However, it is a week later and I’m still unboxing my belongings and finding unpleasant surprises. For example a pot and pan set, an oversized mirror, lunch boxes, and pants with mold growing on them. Some things I’ve bleached clean, others I’ve trashed. However some things will need to be replaced (I refuse to cook on cookware that was once moldy).
While their customer service was excellent when I was a paying customer, this doesn’t make up for the disappointment in finding my belongings covered in mold or consumed by a funky odor (all of my clothes stored in wardrobe boxes smell horrible). Why did I bother paying for a climate controlled unit? This could have been a rare unfortunate incident but I say buyer beware.
Called the complex manager and reported my findings. She’s a sweet lady who sounded very concerned. She stated she would look into the incident but I haven’t heard anything back. That was last weekend.

This place is fantastic. I have had a unit for several years and they have not upped my rent at all. Even after the upgrades to the units and the lot.
