The first time we dined here it was Amazing. 113, offers the most unique menu in Decatur and the atmosphere to match. My wife and I spent New Years here and everything was going great as usual until, the duck came out cold and my wife was sick later. I’m hoping this last visit was a bad fluke and 113, will be back on their game next time.

This is my favorite restaurant in decatur, or anywhere for that matter! I have had everything on the menu over the years and never been disappointed. The bar side is good as well. There is a special every night on the bar side. On the restaurant side you should make a reservation even though it will not be crowded. This is a nice place and you will be there a while to experience the dinner. Do not compare eating here to some chain restaurant! It isnt that. The cost is high but the food will be good. It is a three or four course meal with salad, soup, your meal and then desert if you want.

We went here for a business dinner. It was wonderful. The service was excellent. The appetizers: meatballs, crab cakes, and a mediteranean mushroom w/cheese and pita chips were good. My co-worker raved about their wine selection. All of the entrees came with a delicious soup, a salad, sorbet to clean the palate and olive bread. There are 2 soups: the famous 113 Beer Cheese soup(can’t go wrong) and the soup of the day. I chose the Spinach salad. It had fresh sliced strawberries and raspberry vinigarette. The meal was great and the price was good. I’ll come by here the next time I’m in town.

I have eaten lunch once at Café 113. This place was voted most romantic restaurant in Decatur, which I find laughable. The atmosphere is pretty cool, reminiscent of an older style pub, but I don’t think I would call this place romantic, especially when compared to somewhere like Albany Bistro. The food I tried was just plain terrible. The beer-battered shrimp was clearly frozen shrimp that had been fried. It was overcooked and pretty gross. The hamburger steak was definitely something pre-packaged, not fresh. No hamburger steak is perfectly round, like the one I was served. The only saving grace for this place was the small pineapple upside down cake dessert I tried. It was pretty darn good. I’ve been planning to try dinner here sometime and hope they redeem themselves, but haven’t gotten the nerve to go back yet.

This place really has to be reviewed in three parts. First, the dining room. Very nice atmosphere. Great service. Good selection of wine. Great surf and turf. Best steak in Decatur. Expensive. Best for a special occasion. Second, the bar. Outstanding daily dinner specials. Tuesday night spaghetti is a family recipe and the best I’ve ever had. Cheap eats daily. My husband and I go for the specials in the bar side at least once a week. Two people can eat in the bar for 12 dollars before drinks. Service sometimes very slow. Third, lunch special. Listed each day on their FB page, usually 5.99 to 6.99 and always good. Big portions.

Nice, festive atmosphere in the front dining room. Good specials and wine tasting was a plus. Good service. There is a nice wine store in the front of the restaurant. I’ll be back.

I’ve never had dinner hear but I can say the lunch is pretty inexpensive and really good. It’s a good atmosphere and the wait staff is typically very quick and friendly. I like the steak and occasionally they have some baked chicken for a special which is excellent.

IMHO Café 113 has the best lunch in Decatur! Great atmosphere and delicious food for a very reasonable price. My top choice for lunch is the ribeye plate which includes a serving of rib eye, grits potatoes, green beans and bread. I have no idea what they put in their grits potatoes but they are delicious. Also on the menu is the ever popular Bar Burger as well as a special of the day. The wait staff is friendly and efficient. I think this lunch spot is Decatur’s best kept secret!

Very disappointed in our experience. The cheese/beer soup was inedible, and they don’t serve any bread. This restaurant was supposed to have a good wine selection, but when we asked for the wine list, they said they were redoing it, and they didn’t have one. They brought out two bottles for us to taste, both of which were unsatisfactory. I was finally able to go to their wine rack and choose my own selection. Their salads were not very good. The only thing they seem to be able to do well was the beef. I would not recommend this restaurant.
