Baymont Inn Decatur

Shout out to JOANNE, Desk clerk at Baymont Inn & Suites in DECATUR, INDIANA. We were in the area on ¹⁰⁄₈ — 10÷9÷15 having a new refrigerator installed in our motorcoach. We checked in at the hotel. Everyone was very nice and accommodating. After realizing it was going to take a little longer than expected for the install, Joanne was able to work it out so we could get a LATER CHECK-​OUT! It really helped us. We really appreciate HER above & beyond customer service! See you next go round, Joanne!

We were coming up from NC on short notice for a funeral and as we were driving through Ohio, we were looking for hotels near/​in Decatur, Indiana. This place was close to where we needed to be and was under $ 100/​night which in any case is a win! We stayed for 3 days. The customer service was great and everyone was extremely polite. The bed was to die to and extremely comfortable. I was out like a light every night. Everything worked fine and the mini fridge served its purpose. Obviously, this place is the middle of nowhere Indiana, but I would definitely stay here again because the rooms are clean, the price is great, and the customer service is awesome.

I do understand that this is a hotel in the middle of nowhere, Decatur, IN, but my low rating for this hotel is taking into consideration of the location. There are a few things that turned me off about this hotel. When I got into the room, it was FREEZING. This was the case for my coworker as well. We cranked up the heater to 85 for half an hour to warm up the room. I stood around for 30 minutes doing lunges to stay warm. In addition, the furnitures are outdated as well. However, the pillows were quite nice.
The work out room is also extremely small and only has 1 running machine that barely works. The bowflex in there is also jammed and does not work. The machines are awkwardly placed by the pool, which is visible, making it awkward for all parties.
They offer breakfast, but this consists of microwavable eggs, sausages and biscuits.
