When they ruined my shirt, they tried to blame me for it. Never again.

It was admirable of you to respond so promptly! Unfortunately, I can’t bring the shirt back for you to touch it up because it was already worn. I couldn’t return because I still had a long to-​do list before leaving town and your store is almost a 20 minute drive from my home. Although there were a few problems with the ironing, I was pleasantly surprised to see how well you removed all the stains on the shirt! We also liked the work done on the suit and dress pants.
Because Jumana E. was considerate enough to respond so quickly and offered to touch up the shirt I added a star to my review. I’ll update again the next time I go!

This place has the best hours and fastest turn-​around time I’ve ever experienced. I’ve used them for cleaning and tailoring and each time I’ve been thrilled with the outcome. Not to mention, they have VERY competitive prices, you can’t go wrong!

Living in Dearborn for 18 years, I’ve tried 3 different cleaners. Was always something with the previous 2. Have been taking mine and my husbands clothes to this cleaner for the last 8 years and have had absolutely no problems. Best dry cleaner in the area. I recently moved, and am very sad that I have to go through this process of finding a good cleaner once again. The women who work behind the counters are the sweetest people! I will miss them all.

Great place! I’ve only been in Detroit for a few months… his is the first place I’ve tried and I’m not trying any other place. Friendly staff and helpful.

I chose Pioneer based on the previous review that «the ladies behind the counter are always very friendly and happy to fulfill any cleaning requests» etc. Obviously I didn’t get one of those ladies. I got a teenager with real «I’m better than you» attitude.
Here’s the deal. One of my puppies peed on our new comforter. Yes, I know. Bad bad puppy. Bad bad owner for leaving the bedroom door open. Bad behavior all around. But. .. I was taking the comforter to a CLEANERS! So I was a bit taken aback at the counter girl’s reaction when I told her that there was dog pee on the comforter. OK, not pleasant, but it’s a CLEANERS! I think they’ve seen worse. After looking at me like I’m disgusting and writing it up, she made a big deal of telling me that I had to pin the tag onto the comforter because she couldn’t touch it. «You have to pin this, I can’t.» So I picked a clean corner and pinned on the tag. Then she got out a plastic bag and said I had to put the comforter in it. Not a problem, I did it. But she acted like that comforter and I were the dirtiest things she had ever seen. After I bagged it up and was ready to leave, she gave me the ticket and said something like, «They’ll probably charge more because of the smell.» Yeah, we’ll see.
After I drove away, I almost went back and asked for it back so I could take it somewhere else, but it just wasn’t worth it. What a snot. Hopefully my almost new beautiful comforter will be clean when I get it back.

I feel like most dry cleaners tend to be very similar, but in the case of Pioneer Dry Cleaning their customer service is what makes it better than most. The ladies behind the counter are always very friendly and happy to fulfill any cleaning requests you have for your garments. They are a bit more on the pricey side compared to most cleaners, but they definitely get the clothes clean and pressed right. The only issue I have is that they launder the shirts rather than dry cleaning them and this causes the collars to start wearing. You have to request them to be dry cleaned and they end up being $ 4/​shirt when you have them dry cleaned not laundered.
