DO NOT GO HERE TO GET AN ALIGNMENT!!! They do not know how to do a proper alignment and will use the wrong vehicle specs on your vehicle. If you are average joe/jane off the street and do not know what you are looking at you will get separated from your hard earned money for an alignment that is one pothole hit away from being back out of alignment. They will put your vehicle up on the rack and if everything is in the green they will not put a wrench to it to bring it into center of the spec but they will charge you for doing absolutely nothing. I brought in a vehicle that required them to do actual work on it and much to their disgust I knew what I was looking at. I told them exactly what type of vehicle it was, what they would need to do to align it and what I will be looking for on the printout when I come to get it. When I went to pick it up I immediately noticed they had the wrong vehicle on the sheet meaning they aligned it with the wrong specs. I told them of this and they proceeded to tell me the specs are the same. I told them no they are not, my car is not rear wheel drive and they need to do the alignment with the correct vehicle specs. They told me I would have to bring it back the next day. I had paid for the alignment already so I brought it back the next day and left it there to get done. When I picked it up the correct vehicle was on the specs and all was good. I was then told that they will not do anymore alignments for me from then on out because it was to difficult to do the alignment. I replied to that with "that's funny because I already decided yesterday that i would never bring a vehicle in to here again". I then offered them a free class to their "techs" on how to operate their alignment system and how to do a proper alignment. That didn't sit well with them. In close, If difficult means doing it correctly and not just turning a tierod to bring the toe a bump into the green then yes it is difficult. Moral of the story is don't take your vehicle to any alignment shop without any knowledge of what you are looking at when they hand you your paperwork. Also never ever pay before you looked at your alignment paperwork and verify it was done correctly. Your vehicle specs are at the top of the paperwork and if it doesn't match your type vehicle then the alignment is wrong.

GREAT PLACE I highly recommend this place I went in with my 2010 fusion because there was a lot of rattling going on turned out my suspension needed some parts replaced and showed me how it was going bad and after was done showed me my old parts VERY HONEST great quality work !!!

The ONLY place I go to for all my car repairs. I don’t have a lot of money and always pick the worst cars apparently, but this place always keeps my cars going for great pricing. They always check your car out for free and have never tried to sell me on anything. The ladies in the front know how to run an office, and always explain what’s going on with my car perfectly. The boys in back are fast and talented. Thank you for everything guys, never change!

I use Auto Tech for all of my repair needs. I have a 2000 Neon that’s still up and running, that they’ve help to keep alive. I also have a newer car that I bought and I’ll continue to trust them with. I’ve had few issues that they weren’t happy to rectify. I feel comfortable continuing my service with them and recommending all of my family and friends. You definitely PAY for quality, however, I prefer to have confidence than to be unsure.

Haas saves the day again! I thought my mini van was a goner. I was liking for other used cars and realized I couldn’t afford a decent replacement. Part of my computer was fried and he was able to take a spare part and work some magic to get it to work in my car— at no additional cost. Go Haas! Love u man! I was tapped out on cash, feeling sorry for myself. I needed that. I recommend them to my friends.

BUYER BEWARE!!!
First, my husband took his 2010 Fusion (which he bought from the dealership a few months ago) in for an alignment. The shop did the job, no issues, better alignment and steering when he picked up the car.
We dropped off my 2006 Malibu yesterday for an alignment because we had replaced a number of suspension parts and wanted to be sure nothing was moved out of place in the process. This morning, my husband got a call telling him that «We can’t do an alignment because you need new lower control arms.» Maybe they thought due to the number of miles on the vehicle, we would just take their word for it and pay them to replace the parts. However, since my husband (automotive engineer) replaced these parts himself less than a year ago, we KNOW we don’t need these parts.
You are taking your chances when you use this shop. You might have a fine experience with no problems, or you might have someone try to sell you parts you don’t need in order to boost the profit margin of the shop.
If you do have this shop do any work, be sure to ask for the old parts from your vehicle back. If they can’t deliver them to you, you can be sure they didn’t do the work you were promised. You should actually do this for any shop you do business with, just to keep everyone honest.

I will never take my car to the dealership again. The «check fuel» light kept going off on my car and the service department at VW just replaced the fuel cap. $ 100 for parts and labor and the light was still going off and making the «check engine» light go off too.
Took it to Hass at Auto Tech Clinic. They looked at my car right away, told me what the problem was but never tried to sell me anything. They also replaced my brake light bulb that was going in and out.
I was there maybe a half hour and Hass charged me nothing to check out my car and replace my bulb. Definitely taking my car here from now on!

I brought my car in for an alignment recently and can’t recommend this shop. Although I was given a print-​out showing the specs after it was done, the car still pulled to one side and the steering wheel was off center.
After calling to see if someone could look at it, I was told to come in again — which I did. I waited for 2 hours for them to find time for it, only to have the tech come get me from the waiting room and claim everything was right on the machine. When I mentioned that it still drifted pretty significantly, his reply was to «just keep your hands on the wheel,» claiming he didn’t notice anything on his test drive.
Thankfully I found another shop that agreed it wasn’t right, was able to align the car correctly and resolve the issue.

Had a friend suggest this place for some repairs I needed once. I needed to get my tires rotated, as well as get a couple new exhaust hangers replaced. I didn’t make a an appointment, and they still got me in on a Saturday (even with how busy they were). Picked my truck up a couple hours later, only for the guy to tell me they did everything for free. They were super polite, and they are packed with customers for a reason.

My husband and I have been taking our cars here since 2011. We’ve had them work on our cars many times and we’ve been happy with their work. I had to take my Saturn last Friday due to noise/​rattling sound while turning. I needed a new tie rod and new axle. Anyways when i returned to pick it up I only took my keys and returned shortly after shop closed with my husband. Well it was a mess once I started it. The speedometer would cut in and out and when it cut out my engine would rev up and act as if it was stalling. I had to return it within 10 minutes. I had to deal with this issue on Saturday morning. But i am so glad that Hass took it with me for a several test drives and he took care of it. Im not sure what happened while they were working on my car the first time. But Hass was very willing to make it right and have it back and running the way i originally took it in. I am confident in his assessment and he went above and beyond to figure out what the problem was. We will continue to go here for car work needed!

Very rarely do I plug a business, but this place rocks. I have been going there for years and they are always honest and fair. You won’t beat their price or service. If you need a mechanic in the Dearborn area go here. This place is always busy and justfully so.

I have had several services performed at Autotech, and the incident that caused me to question their honesty and business ethics occurred when I had to try my ignition several times before it would start, and took my car there to be diagnosed. I was told after a few days that they could not identify what was wrong (but that it was not the ignition), and that they would return it to me so that I could have it over the weekend, advising me to bring it back the following week so that they could look into the problem further. Before I was able to bring the car back in, I had to have it towed there because the problem had escalated to the point that I couldn’t start the car at all. I called Fred prior to taking the vehicle to the shop, told him what was going on, and asked if it sounded like something that they could address at Autotech, or if I should take it to the dealership. He advised me that they would take a look at it, so I had it towed there, and was later told that it was a faulty alternator and charged $ 400. Upon picking the vehicle up, I was told that if the problem continued, there may also be a problem with my mass airflow sensor, and I was advised that I should fill the car up with premium gas, put fuel injection cleaner in it, «and see if that fixes the problem». I was told to bring the car back if that suggestion didn’t fix it, which would mean that they would have to reprogram the key. None of this made any sense to me, and led me to wonder whether or not the alternator was in fact the problem given that it had been fixed and I was having the same issue with my car, but because I trusted them I thought that I’d give it a try, believing that if it didn’t work I could bring it back there to get the key fixed and then be done with the whole thing.
When the car continued to have problems after following Autotech’s instructions, I took it back up there, supposedly so that they could reprogram the keys. They kept my vehicle for over 2 weeks before telling me that after many unsuccessful attempts to fix the problem on their own, they would have to order the software to reprogram the key from Audi. After they allegedly received this software and reprogrammed the keys, I was advised that the problem was fixed temporarily, but that I would need to take the keys back to Audi to get a new pair within the week to prevent the problem from happening again.
Upon taking my car to Audi and having a full diagnostic performed, I was advised that they don’t license out their software to any outside vendors, and that the source of my problem had nothing to do with an alternator or keys, but instead was related to the ignition itself (as I had originally suspected). The repair was estimated to be $ 465 dollars. When I called Fred and made him aware of what Audi said, he didn’t even want to discuss the key reprogramming and alleged «Audi software», and still claimed that his diagnosis of a faulty alternator was correct, even upon hearing that the fact was disputed by the dealership. He continued to debate me, claiming that he stood behind his assessment, even though I had the same problem after he changed the alternator. I told him that I wasn’t asking for a full refund of the work, as I realized that I had been enriched by Autotech installing a new alternator, but the fact was that the alternator was not the source of my problem and I would still have to pay the dealership $ 465 to fix what he was supposed to have remedied originally. He refused to offer me any money back, or any other concession for that matter, which was very surprising and upsetting given the situation and the amount of business that I had conducted with his shop over the past several months prior to this incident.
I sought mediation in hopes of resolving this issue outside of court, which resulted in Fred agreeing to settle with me, but then failing to contact me or the mediator in order to do so. I planned to continue with court proceedings just based on principal, but decided against it since it would cost me $ 75 to file a suit against him for a $ 200 claim (half of what he charged me for the alternator). So I have instead opted to share my Autotech experience with everyone, so that other people (particularly women), who may not be as knowledgeable about cars and auto repairs will not be taken advantage of as I was. Since this incident, I have come to question whether or not I needed many of the several repairs that they urged me to get, as they have proven themselves to be dishonest and unethical, and overall unwilling to admit to their mistakes nor are they willing to attempt to correct them. I will never go here again, and urge all who read this to take your business elsewhere also. Don’t become another one of their victims.

Honest… Affordable and Quality work. I brought my car in for an oil change and thought I had a problem with my breaks. It turns out that my breaks were okay a little warped. Charged me $ 20 for my oil change and thats all. An honest shop that does quality work and will show you the problem before they fix it.
I have saved $ 100’s of dollars on replacing struts at Auto Tech Clinic. They treat my $ 20,000 car like the $ 100,000 Customer Mercedes that was dropped off. I go no where else.

Incredibly happy with this shop. There are so many crooked shops in SE Michigan its sickening. These guys are excellent, i had a heat problem in the dead of winter. They took the car in and did a full diagnostic, which went towards the repair, and it ended up being a plugged up radiator. They flushed it out, but the problem came back only days later. I took the car back and they STOOD MY THEIR WORK, they went and flushed it out again, front and rear systems, at no extra charge. Basically, these guys are totally honest and upfront with you. Too many shops around are just trying to scam us, be wise, go here.
