Saturn Food Center

I’ve gone to Spartan twice since it’s reopening. The prices have SKYROCKETED in comparison to what they were before. The prices are at LEAST $ 2 more than the same items at Walmart or Aldi’s. I don’t mind driving a few extra miles, I won’t go there again.

store could be bigger and prices are a bit higher than other grocery stores. a good place to grab milk and bread.

I use this market a lot because it is so much easier than going to one of the awful big-​box grocery chains. Not the best selection, but I can be in and out in no time. Super-​friendly staff, too. There is one other really cool thing about this store, but it’s so cool that I won’t divulge my little secret…

Best — Meat prices in town from the deli to the rack now with roasted chicken.
Best — Service! never a wait always plenty of staff on hand and all very knowledgeable about the store.
Good — Selection They carry a full line of produce to canned goods including the Spartan generic brand.
Good — Sales that change weekly and prices on staples like milk and bread.
Needs Work — They need more space, Plenty of parking but the store is so small you can barely pass in a single row. No Handicapped scooters there just isn’t room.
Overall — They are a great neighborhood resource from the large chain stores quick and easy in and out service. They are in a good location away from any big stores so it is convenient to the local neighborhood. It is always my first choice unless I need something more rare or exotic.
